In Bay Pines area we had some ice pellets/sleet fall about 3-4 PM or so with slight accumulation remaining. I heard over the Montgomery TV weather that bridges were closed in Elmore and Tallapoosa county but the Alabama DOT road closures page does not confirm that. Currently about 32 degrees on the deck. NWS radar shows lots of precip headed our way.

Very little precipitation of any kind. Temp 34 degrees. From the looks of the radar, we may just barely duck this bullet. NOAA calling for 70% chance of snow/ice tomorrow, but I'm not sure where it'll come from--this system looks to be moving to the east. Sure hope so!

I measured .27" water from the ice in my gague at 7 am. About averaged 15/100 accretion on a wire, so not power problems likely. Driveway, road, steps etc are somewhat slick. Not planning on going anywhere till that thaws.

About the same report for Pace's Peninsula - some ice visible on trees and power lines buy it is starting to drip. Temp is about 35 and it's really cloudy but weather reports show most of the storm out of here.

Left LM on Sun am around 10..........cloudly and cold............and arrived back in East Cobb Co to clouldy and colder weather. Woke this morning to between 5 and 6 inches of snow, socked in for a while looks like, and to make matters worse it looks like some may melt during the day so it can refreeze into sheets of ice later! Not to worry though, got plenty milk, bread and toilet tissue..............
