Take Notice: Due to recent heavy rains, expect Logan Martin elevation to reach and even exceed summer pool level throughout today. Individuals with boats and water-related equipment and facilities should always stay alert to changing conditions and be prepared to take the necessary steps to protect their property.

I've been watching it creep up all morning. It will be a surprise if the water reaches 465 today. There will be alot of debris in the lake because so many people have dead wood to burn on their water fronts. Be careful if you're going to play soon. Dave

If you look at last years levels we had a spike on March 11th to over 464, that's odd to be within 2 days

The local paper said it wouldn't crest for a few days per an Apco source. It usually take 2 or 3 days anyway. Just wondering whether they will leave it up or keep waiting for May like usual.

per AL Power web site:

Take Notice: Due to recent heavy rains, expect Logan Martin lake elevation to exceed summer pool level by about 6 feet to near elevation 471 on 3/11/2011. Individuals with boats and water-related equipment and facilities should always stay alert to changing conditions and be prepared to take the necessary steps to protect their property.
