My thoughts and prayers are with the people of the effected areas. I just talked with a close friends on vacation in Hawai. They said all is calm in the area they they are (In the hills rather than the coast) but that they are monitoring the TV. They have not lost their sense of humor...Jimmy asked me whether there was any chance Obama had anything to do with this!... I told him we would have to wait until certain internet sages I know in central Alabama had made their assessments and that I would keep him up to date.

No joke. My prayers are going out this morning to the people of Japan.

Gee Archie, only you can turn a tragedy for thousands of people into an opportunity to insult people that do nothing more than document and refute the inanity of libtards.  Your Mom would be so proud of you......

Fortunately for the Japanese they are well versed with earthquakes and their building codes help to limit the damage.  But 8.9 is a huge quake, 160 times more powerful than the latest one that hit Christchurch.  The real blessing is that the tsunami far outside Japan has not been anywhere as big as near the epicenter.  10 meters is pretty big and will do a lot of damage.

I just remembered that one of my clients and a very good friend is in Japan this week on business.  Spoke to her husband and he said she was outside Tokyo and the building they were in has dampeners so while they felt it there was no damage.  She is stuck there for a little while because they would not let the plane she was supposed to return on land.  Hopefully she will get out today or tomorrow.

Your message started well ... but you lose it all and come off that you are not sincere at all in your concern for the people of Japan or Hawaii. Very sad. I can not believe how selfish and arrogant we are seeing liberals really are.

If you could find any possible way to pin it on Obama you would.

On another but related note...Listening to Boortz today he went off on a caller who expressed concern about the possibility a radiation escape in the event of a reactor meltdown. Boortz in a huff asked whether the caller knew more than the scientists who are pointing out that even a meltdown will not result in contamination because of the shield around the reactor rods would contain the radiation. Reminds me of you and MM...you are all for the scientists when that say what you already believe but claim they have a "left wing agenda" when they say something outside your narrow perspective,,,as in "climate change".

Archie, what you don't seem to understand is that unlike deranged libtards that blame Bush for everything we are way too educated and intelligent to blame a natural disaster on anyone.  So speculate all you want, but the only way we would pin it on the Messiah is if he actually did something to cause.  No chance of that so you can rest easy.....your dear leader is off the hook on this one.

As for your climate change non-sequitur all I can say is, huh?!?!?  I will be glad to trot out my eminently qualified scientists who say anthropogenic climate change is a bunch of baloney for every one of your Algore types that are promoting it.  And in case you weren't paying attention, I believe it was the globaloney-promoting scientists that had to hide data and lie to promote their false prophesies.  Got a similar story about the skeptics?

Archie, don't you ever tire of being skewered with facts and logic?  I am starting to believe you are suffering from the battered wife syndrome.....you just can't help coming back for more and I of course am glad to help.  Got any more natural disasters with all the human suffering that you can use to insult us?

Unless I thought Obama was the messiah as you do ... no I would not look to blame an earth quake on him.   I blame him for the bad policy decisions, that has prolonged the recession, expanded unemployment, expanded debt beyond comprehension, rising oil prices, no job growth, etc.   All things he and dems own and were decisions they made rather than focusing on the real issues .... like Bush did after 9/11 and the recession Clinton left him.   That was leadership ... Obama is a coward that worries more about protecting unions, helping his buddies, what a Boston police officer did ... than leading the country.

WW, after 9-11 Bush fooled us for a while until the thinking people of the country finally realized that while he had us in his trust he shifted the fight to the wrong place at the cost of 4500 American lives, countless innocent Iraqy lives and 600 billion and counting of off budget dollars. Leadership yea. responsible leadership...he// no!!

Yeah MM you love to "skewer" anybody who ever dares to disagree with your rightwing rants, but you always do the skewering with snide comments and big words, never with "facts".

Nope. just review some of MM's blatherings. An open mind is the most dangerous thing on the planet, but most of you guys have no reason to worry.

Geez Archie, we went from insulting us through the tragedy in Japan to Bush lied, people died?!?!?  You really do know how to take a thread off into various directions.  The problem you have with my facts is they refute your opinions.  Facts are facts, whether you like them or hate them. Trying to relocate them into right wing rants or the use of big words doesn't really change what they are.

H-bob had it right, pot....meet kettle.
