I am looking for some local honey. I was told by a friend that taking a tablespoon of local honey would help with my allergies. I am on the lake in the North Blue Creek subdivision close to Emerald Shores.

Don't know for sure about the allergy end, but if you find local honey (or not), drizzle some of it over your favorite cocktail cracker that has been toasted in an oven under a piece of super sharp cheddar, a sliver of pepperoni/hard salami and a small chunk of hot pickled pepper. Add an adult beverage, a deck, a comfy chair, a LM sunset and put your sinus' on hold.
Seriously, I would bet that local honey is available in some of the shops in Dadeville. Somebody here will know.

I don’t recall the gentleman’s name, but he sells his local honey at Santuck on the 1st Sat. of each month.  His truck is usually near the fire station.

I'm here to tell you that a little honey every day will keep the allergies away. I put honey in my hot tea every morning and I have not had allergy problems for the last couple of years.

We lost out honey man (J.B. Shockley) he sold at Santuck. He passed away about 6 months ago. Since then I have worked to start honey bees. I hope to have some honey later in year (season is just getting started)... You wot find honey as of today but there should be some around once the bees get to work... Check your small hardware stores. If there is some for sell thats where it will be...

I will sell mine at booth TG-1 Longleaf Antique Mall when its available....

Thanks, we sure will miss Mr. Shockley and I know I could never fill his shoes but, I want to help...
