Instructors are being let go but I have not heard of any administrators being let go who were hired in the last year. Without instructors how can they have students for these classes, why turn away students. I think someone needs a business course. They are trying to make new coke when everybody wants coke classic.

The staff positions in a bureacracy always compete with the line positions (teachers). If enabled they are the ones that make the decisions about who gets laid off.
