It it does not have a collar or tags, then you may have a new puppy dog. Get it to the vet and checked out. You are lucky and it was meant to be. Congtats.

Its hard for me to tell but If I had to guess I would say around 6 months. You would fall in love with this one. I would like to find its owner but If I don't You and Feb are first on the list.

Are you sure it's a beagle? My only problem with beagles is that is it a barkarama with them and I already have a coon hound.
It would be great if you could find the owner. Sadly, it sounds like someone just dumped it. Have you thought about putting a sign up at the end of 20, just in case?

We've have had 2 beagles (one died in 2007 and the other is still going strong at the age of 17). Ours were never much on barking. They liked being inside and love the lake. We are at the end of Coosa County 20 but that one isn't ours. Our deaf/blind beagle is snoring on her bed.
Feb, looks like you are the lucky person to receive a new addition.

You are so thoughtfull. It brings tears to my eyes or is it my allergies and the yellow pollen. I think "To The Lake" could use a nice new pup to help raise their new Son. We will contribute with "dog food support".

You have a couple of allies from here, but it seems to be a frutal cause.
It seems some of the folks in this area can not even afford to feed their dogs.
I do feel for the poverty that is within a very short distance of the Lake.

Send picture, and if indeed it is a VERY young dog, is a Beagle Dee Dee and I would love to have it. Here at Prattville of course. Dee Dee really likes beagles. She has had two, but something happened to both. We have 3 (Yep THREE) Weenie Dogs. One silver dapple, a Issabella and a Chocallate (spell). If this works, we will call it "CAT DOG". (: Just sayin'. Lucky for the dog, Dee Dee is in Atlanta with Madi with Volley Ball tourney. Madi is 11, and is lucky enough to be on the #1 CCJ Tourney Team. (She is tall like Daddy). Hurry, bring the dog before they get home Sunday afternoon.

Feb and I talk about this all the time. All of the dogs that show up here are "intact".
It's such a minor surgery, and it makes a huge difference. Both of my dogs are neutered and micro-chipped. Unless a person has a responsible breeding program, there is just no reason to leave an animal intact.
