Wanted to post some information on Lake Martin Storm Shelters. We will be providing fiberglass storm shelters including installation in and around the 5 counties surrounding Lake Martin. We offer 3 sizes small(up to 6 people, Medium(up to 8 people) and large(up to 12 people)comfortably. They are shipped and manufactured in Texas with a company that's been in business for 30 years. Were excited to be able to provide this shelter service for the local residents. We'll have a in ground shelter and a traveling shelter on a trailer on display at 9070 Hwy 63 south. The shelters should be here in 2 weeks. There are many advantages with a fiberglass storm shelter vs. steel or concrete. One of them being telephone and internet service. Our website should be up today! www.lakemartinstormshelters.com Our contact number is 256-794-8075 Thanks! Merry Hardy

Glad to see the patrol is active.  I need to hire you guys to watch over my 'mater patch.   On second thought,,,,never mind.  Someone just whispered something in my ear about a fox and a hen house, or a Cat and a ho's hangout.

Just trying to keep Bruce in business along with another free beer stop on the lake..... speakin' of maters, how they coming? I start my 4+ week vacation a week from Monday, so I can come by often and check on them  starting then.  I put out a few plants and also have some Ancho, Jalapeno, and Hot Bananna peppers going, but I'll never top your patch....looking forward to free samples there too!

Had a couple of plants to do the "leaf wilt" and start dying.  Never know what's up with that, but it always happens.  Many are doing well, however.  I get a little worried when one bites the dust, and wonder if the others will follow suit.

Rabbits, or something, ate my beans that were about to bloom.  If I start talking like Elmer Fudd then you will know I am after that  Wascal Wabbit.

Trade some wabbit patrol duties for a couple maters?  I could anchor the 'toon just off your pier some night and snipe....

You might give George a call. Probably bring the 17 to the party.

We saw a great and very affordable storm shelter up around Lake Wedowee.  It was an old school bus that was dug into a hillside with just the cab and door uncovered.  Very efficient and affordable....and it made a nice ornamental landscape piece of art.

Just pay Bruce for the advertisement. He is running a business that, to my knowledge, is not a non-profit association. Any questions?

I appreciate all the replies and watchdogs. My advertisement on Lakemartin.com was submitted early this morning before I did this post. I guess I should have waited for it to appear first. Sorry. Merry Hardy

Welcome to Lake Martin Storm Shelters. When this was posted they had committed to an ad already. We're just waiting on their site to be done. Personally, I can't wait to see these storm shelters. From our discussion they have some nifty features.

No problem, welcome to the Forum...there are a lot of vigilantes on the forum looking out for Bruce, the Webmaster...because we like the service he provides...and we the users definitely appreciate your support of the Forum through your paid advertising.

Generally you can feel free to respond to direct questions from forum members here, just be careful about using forum posts to troll for business.

Yeah,  Okay.  We have the same rules on our horse forums.  It makes good sense.  I was trying to respond the the thread below and started a new one by mistake.  Then I tried to fix it, by responding again.  Oh well, I'll get it straight.

Thanks for your help!

Merry

I did not know you had signed up as an advertiser. Sometimes my mouth precedes my brain. Welcome, and your product should do well given the circumstances.

You might also want to mention it will provide a demo unit on the other side of the Lake. Now talking about soliciting without paying for it. LOL

These are good people and this is a good product.

I did some homework on storm shelters and was ready to get in the business, because it seemed like there was a need, and we already have a backhoe and a bobcat at the factory.

When I was informed that this group was going to fulfill the need I canceled my plans.
