I know a few of you here think you are doing the webmaster a favor in being a cop for him when someone post a note that might be questionable, but let him do his job as owner and webmaster. When a member here spits venom at a possible advertiser, and in my situation I was an advertiser, it leaves a feeling that it is wasted advertising dollars. I was a paid advertiser but when treated the way I was in the beginning, I didn't spend my money here any longer. Why not treat someone with a little more dignity and leave the webmaster to privately deal with the perp. It wouldn't make certain people here look like an A**. Just Saying!

Once again.... it is not "Just Sayin." It is "Jes Sayin." Please pay attention. Secondly, if you got your feelings hurt because you advertised your wares without paying for it, get over it. This is not a non-profit message board and, it may surprise you to know, Bruce probably doesn't monitor this board 24/7. So, pay the 100 bucks or whatever, and be done with it. It is really an easy solution. That is all.

I was a paid advertiser here BEFORE i made my first post telling people of my wares. Those guilty jumped down my throat about posting WITHOUT checking the fact that I WAS a paying advertiser. Kinda reminded me of days of school bullies. A few said they were sorry, but the damage had already been done.

Then, I offer my apologies if I was one that "jumped" on you. However, the last perp was not an advertisor before he broadcast his wares. Entirely different subject. Jes sayin.

if you want to put yourself in "police mode" then you should first go check the advertising section and see if the person is indeed a paid advertiser. Being bruce's little b*tch on the board before you know what your talking about is not welcomed and actually is none of your business. I tried to find on the different links on here where Bruce asked for users to help monitor the forum for advertising while not paid. Just not on here. It's not your website, it's not your financial business, and you actually are just priviledged like the rest of us to be able to use it. So to those of you that paid your advertising and were harrassed by the lurkers on here with nothing to do but argue, there are many of us out here that totally agree with you on your comments.

that one should do their homework before saying something and it should be done in a tactful manner if something is said (in the words of Bama1957, with little sugar).  Most folks that come on here and solicit are unaware of the rules and it's usually an honest mistake that's easily rectified.

You advertise our product/service to entice people to try it, but if what you are offering is not judged to be a good product/service at a reasonable price, you WILL be "wasting" your money on the ads. Perhaps it was just marketed to an inappropriate audience.

My product, how ever good or bad it may be, has nothing to do with the attitude here. I am an outsider looking in. I live on Logan Martin Lake. I spent my childhood summers on Lake Martin. I will never live on Lake Martin again. I tried advertising here and was treated like a piece of trash trying to introduce myself. Without the first person checking the advertising section, I was jumped on. I visit this page at least 2 times a day. I have seen EVERY person that introduces themselves treated the same way. The holier than thou attitude of the seemily entitled people that think that is the right way to attract new business, new homeowners to the area, keep it up. I'm sure in some of your minds, it is ok to treat someone that way. But as for me and my advertising dollars, I went elsewhere. Maybe if I had of been treated a little differently, I would have stayed a bit longer. I thank the one's who welcomed me, to the one's that acted like a schoolyard bully, you know who you are. Betting you were also the bully on the playground. Jes Saying

Right you are, yet both will lead to a bellyache. Tried to figure out if perhaps I was one who launched an unwarranted attack, and feel better since I can't find any negative posts, mine or anyone else's, tied to your alias.

I agree that the keystone cops go a little overboard at times, but we feel that Bruce "needs us....sorta like Bigfoot needs us to help him with pointing out posts worthy of an award.

The attacks were to my company alias, not my personal alias. Don't try to figure it out. Everyone is either naughty or nice, no in between.

I completely agree with bama1957.  Y'all Barney Fife types hurt Bruce and this board more than you help it.

And, when I say Jus'Sayin, I say jUs, not jEs.

jus'sayin.....
