I'm a bit behind, what happened to the angry guy 'Mr Ed (something)' now hosted by this super journalist on "Power Panel" named Cenk Uymer (???) Good replacement, both have fat heads and stomachs.

Potpourri....
I watch msnbc for comic relief, but they are taking the fun out of it. Fox talks issues and msnbc talks Fox...hmmm...no wonder they are in the tank with ratings.
Is that Madcow girl still on? She was the epitome of "I ain't got nuthin to say so I'll blast the other guy". And the vitriol was amazing...I only hope it is an act and she is really not that eaten up with hatred...if so, what a wretched existence...
The lake was like glass in our slough this morning....peaceful, unlike television..so peaceful I didn't even turn the danm thing on for two days.
Unfortunately I am back in Fungummery, but fortunately my Bham doctor gave me the all-clear after back surgery. Now back to that cabin addition...:>)

One has to wonder if riding on a donkey watching were one has been might give one a back problem? Just wondering? Lake is beautiful on this end.. Crappie fishing has been very good and continues (go figure, it's late in the season.) Plus, have a terrific colony of purple martins, 3rd house added this year, and all have a lake front view. Love my Martins almost as much as my former dogs.. Life is good..

I checked my license and I am limited to working on this side of the lake. And I have been doing too much of that lately. It is a joy to be at the lake early morning or late afternoon during the week. The water is smooth and clear, and so refreshing.
But what is up with this mid July weather?

I graduated from the University of Arkansas. When we were in Turkey we had a gardener named Osman. One day he was thirsty so I served him some ice cold water in a Razorback glass. Told him it was "domus su"....pig water...thought he was going to have a rigor....
That being said, Osman was a good guy with a world view and took it in the vein it was intended. We both had a big laugh. Wish the ragheads these days were as understanding.
