Just curious. Does anyone know if they are still in business? I know they got hit hard by the storm. I have been trying to get in touch with Ronnie about my light which hasn't been working for over a month. He told me that it would be fixed by last friday. It wasn't and I have left several messages with no response.

I sure hope they are. Who wants to sit on thier dock and look at an unnatural light in the water?

you're not the first one that's had a communication problem with him (this year or other years)....don't know why he's not better at follow-ups.

Jaws:

All I have to say is good luck, when my double light finally bites the dust lets just say I will be finding an alernative. Hate it, but no customer service is not worth any price.

Do a search on the forum. I have in the past provided all the details on how to make your own. It is still expensive but significanly less so than buying them from commercial vendors. I will not do this for others since I am not a certifided electrican. I was happy to tell everyone how to do it and where to get the components. Mine have been working for three years now, and I have also replaced a couple of my bulb components.

We did some research on these after my Monster light went out after only a year and was not fixable- a store in Dadeville- The Blue Hydrangea- there behind the court house sells- The Fishing Light- has a 3 year warrenty- bulbs can be replaced because they are incased in a casing that makes them safe for submersing underwater- they are grounded to be in the water unlike others out there- if your bulb goes out you can replace it unlike others out there- because of the special casing around the bulb you will never have glass in your lake bed- we ordered ours from The Blue Hydrangea and it was shipped to me within the week!

Thanks for all the comments. It sounds like I'm not the only one having problems with them. My light is still under warranty although the customer service needs improving. At least you all have provided me with several good options. Many thanks.

I got my lights three years ago both safty ground plugs  went bad they where under warranty and Ronnie Dennis fix them on the spot. The second year the balance went out in my two light kit. He fixed it for a charge of $50. This year after the storm they are triping my breaker again. My single light kit and my double light kit are not working. I really like them when they work, but a repair every year and taking the box mounts off the dock and removing lights and cords from the water is getting old. I have been unpluging them like Ronnie suggested when I'm not there because I'm a weekender to mybe keep lightning for running in on them back when both plugs went bad on the first repair. Maybe the under water light idea is tuff to perfect.

I had problems with the ground fault plugs.  I cut them off and wired them into a dedicated circuit with a gfic breaker.
That solved the problem.   I also added a timer to the circuit.

They come on at dark and go off at 2 AM

Have had no problem for three years now.
