My wife has a problem with rose bushes disappearing at night. I noticed one was gone yesterday and I thought she was moving it, then this morning two more were eaten completely into the ground. Will deer eat roses, stems, stickers, and all?

Their favorite is a rose bush. But, they wait for mine to put on a fresh crop of just-opening bright red buds, then move in and eat every bud and all fresh growth.
Deer-Out spray has worked OK if I apply it maybe every 3 or 4 weeks.

I just noticed this week Japanese beetles eating my roses and my banana plants. Not only have they eaten the rose buds, they are eating the entire leaves of the plants. Google said drown them in soapy water. I got about 50 of them earlier in the week and haven't seen another one since. I am hopeful the remainder got the word!

Deer Yes Rabbits Yes If the whole bush is gone it is deer. Pee near them.
