was almost lunch. Right at 1 1/2 hour to get food....and the restaurant was less than 1/2 full... and almost empty when I was served. Out of biscuits (hello Pillsbury?), Omelet had wrong ingredients. There was what appeared to be a slice of cheese food on the top of the omelet like a patch on an inner tube.
I thought the breakfast menu was weird. You could have 2 biscuits with gravy for I think $4.99 but a complete breakfast with toast for $5.99. If I wanted the 2 biscuits w gravy and 2 eggs and sausage that would be $10.00 according to the menu. At those price levels you would expect more than a Waffle House special but two small chunks of cantelope and 3 red grapes don't make special. Excuse for the wait? The kitchen was transitioning between breakfast & lunch...uh... I arrived at 9:45....
Regular lunch is next...
Sounds like you got the guy from the smoker to cook for you. The good experiences for me occurred at 8 AM during the week--I choose not to eat out while the hordes are in town.
I have heard good lunch reviews and breakfast reviews too. Maybe my timing was bad but they can't let that kind of stuff happen and stay around. I'll be optimistic that this was something weird and not representative.
