right until other peoples money runs out. Then the pain getting off the bottle hurts a lot. Will Obama and the dems learn from what is playing out in front of them. The only form of government that works consistently is capitalism, free enterprise and low regulation. Let the markets work. And fishy and archie, lets not start a debate about the financial cris saying it was too little regulation. It is clear government policy for more available mortgages drove the creativity that caused the crisis ... and much of it by Fannie and Freddie. Had the responsibility for mortgages stayed with the banks and not backed by fannie and freddie ... we would not have had the problem. Yes housing would not have grown as fast ... but in hindsight that would have been a good thing.

Government needs to stick to what free enterprise can not do ... like national security, foreign relations, monetary policy on currency and inflation.

Government is that fiction where everyone lives at the expense of everyone else. What you are seeing in Greece is what happens when the productive simply disappear like in Atlas Shrugged, except they migrated to more friendly climes. Hard to feel sorry for them.
