at Sandy Creek and the 49 bridge? I got a call from a guy that has been in the Sandy area for 40+ years that said he had never seen such weird green water. Now let's don't start rumors but I'd like to know if anyone else has seen it.

Increased algae bloom?

Don't think so. That river has a clear bottom.  With lack of rains, the water is most likely reflecting the green from the shoreline vegetation.

I noticed it too but thought it was extremely muddy but I am color blind.  I have never seen it as mucky as it has been though. And for the record, it ain't reflecting NOTHING. Just a dark murky mess!! I know, lets sue Dadeville!!  It has to be something the local politicos did or didn't do just to get back at those of us that live on the water.

The clearer the water, the more sunlight, the bigger the algae bloom. It's green looking all the way down below the rocks.
