My family and I didn't depart back to Birmingham until Tuesday around five. There was a pretty big storm that blew through around 4 or so that dumped a TON of rain (we were in Windermere). it rained really hard for quite a while, was hoping the lake level would be UP today, not DOWN! What gives?

While some of the immediate area got a good bit of rain, it was localized cells. In Still Waters, I got over 2" Mon and Tue, yet the watershed gagues north and west of us got very little. I'm just grateful we have what we have given the lack of rain this year. Down more than 25%. South of us is much worse.
