I was not there, but some "first hand" reports were that the MP were going boat to boat checking out everyone/everything, and quite a few people were taken away (as in arrested) off anchored boats.  Anybody know what gives, or was this just a rumor?    Some "said" this was just an opportunity for the MP to put the hammer down.  Hope that was not the case. Please someone correct me on this, or was it a shooting fish in a barrel experience for them.

MP's did a great job. We had a large fun loving group that was right in the middle of everything and had no problems (there was no shortage of adult beverages). We did see them respond to 2 or 3 situations....the one that was close enough for us to easily see was totally warranted and the folks on the boat with initials "A-H" were hauled off after a Breathalyzer test. What we saw farther away looked like  underage drinking or possibly drug use. We also saw many that had no clue or respect for the no wake zone get stopped.

I was in the first row through the whole concert.   I saw the MP and the Elmore County Sheriff's patrol boat several times.  They were just making their presents known.  I saw no one get arrested.   Of course I did not see any one who needed arresting.
We had two five gallon buckets.  We would take them up to the VIP tent and the Miller  Lite girls would get somebody to fill them up with beers. Cops did not  bother us for that.
When the storm  blew up and a guy I assume was Don King said they could play about two more songs,  we began to leave.
As we were leaving and heading to Willow Point, we saw many people who  appeared to be drunk swimming in between the rows of boats. Many of these people were getting in the way of others who were trying to leave.  At that point I saw MP clear the way for people to exit.  They did a good  job and I did not see anyone get arrested or harassed even the people who were acting as if they were wasted.

I heard a rumor at the Miller tent that some guy had a heart attack and died on a boat that was located back among the great unwashed.

I thought the MPs did a great job making their presence known. They passed our floatilla several times and hour and waved and smiled to our group. I did see a couple of boat entries by them but based on what I saw through the binoculars, it was justified and appreciated. They helped make a fun event safe!

Witnessed numerous instance where the marine police could have issued a citation but instead spoke to the occupants of the vessel and asked them to comply and if any attitude given then they did their job and did it well. I appreciate the marine police and have the utmost respect for them dealling with such a large crowd.@

I was on row 2 the entire concert and would agree with KA. The MP and Sheriff Patrol boats passed by several times just checking things out. Did not see anyone arrested until the concert was over. I sat in the rain for a while waiting for the crowd to disperse and saw the MP with a boat pulled over and one person in handcuffs. I heard on the radio this morning they estimated 25K - 30K people had attended. There were 44 arrests.

It was a good time for all (except the arrested ones) :-)
