Harry, the museum was created and is managed by the Tallapoosee Historical Society. It is located on main street next door to the Old Bank Antiques (opposite side from the courthouse). It has a large collection of old items and memorabilia donated by citizens of Tallapoosa County and surrounding areas....very interesting exhibits. It is open on Thursdays, Fridays, and the first Saturday of the month. Hours are 10 AM-1 PM...admission FREE.
