I had to take my boat off the lift a few weeks ago. The water is dropping so fast because we are feeding Lake Houston for the drinking water supply. Houston has 5,000+ water main leaks. Is the lake level a problem for you? PapaJohn

Hey Papa John,

Good to see you on this forum. I like you am frustrated with the current lake level. However I am hopeful that the lake returns to its normal height soon. I am glad the Palms Marina management is hanging in there and investing in our lake and will hang in there with them and see this through.
See you out there
Andrew

I live at Park On The Lake RV park and we are no where near the lake anymore. I used to tie up my boat at the dock right behind my fifth wheel, now I can't even see the lake. I have only been here a year and I am told no one has seen it like this before. What is it going to take to bring the level back to normal? Will one season of normal rainfall be enough or is it going to take a major tropical storm?

I don't know but the historical data at this website http://conroe.uslakes.info/Level.asp suggests it happens pretty quick when it does. Lake Houston is decreasing their pull on the lake as of last Friday and it will likely continue to go down and when it cuts off the lake conroe level should rise pretty quick. is this optimism or ignorance...time will tell but the historical speaks for itself.

I am excited at the rises of late. In the past couple weeks the lake has risen over a foot. We have more rain on the forecast and it is looking good so far. Bring it mother nature!!

We seem to be stuck in the 198.8 range.

Could there be a leak?

I've been wondering the same thing! We've received 1.3 inches so far this month and no change!?
