My wife and I went for a relaxing sunday afternoon boat ride yesterday. Weather was great, slight chill at moderate speeds, water/sky were beautiful, crisp air was refreshing. Got to love fall on Lake Martin. Soon the leaves will begin to turn and that bright setting sun will spotlight the trees and shoreline across from my pier.
What a beautiful lake we all have to enjoy.

Will probably be this weekend. And, man, what a weekend forecast!! Highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's. Should be perfect for sweats, fireplace and coffee.

We did exactly the same thing. On Sunday we call it our "Reclaim the Lake Cruise". All the traffic, loud boats, seadoo bees and idiots are gone. Peace..... beauty....nice...

It was a beautiful weekend, but with the lower temperatures we didn't get out on the boat (y'all should have stopped by on your cruise). We did get some painting done, but I really miss summer already. I am liking football season though..... looks like we'll be heading to the game this Saturday at Bobby Dodd for Zach's last parent weekend at the North Ave. trade school.

We didn't venture far out of our little district up here....just stayed around Ochachoy and Chapman creeks. Have fun at the Tech game. I just picked up a GT running back so cheer him on.
