Stopped by yesterday to try Uncle Nicks. Wife and I shared the barn yard platter which included brisket, pulled pork and smoked chicken along with onion straws and fries. More than we could eat and all was good. One a scale of 1 to 10 I would say it was an 8 overall - very good. Liked the brisket and chicken the best and sides were not greasy at all. Service was good, but they were not busy. Hope they make it as sure the rent is not cheap. Prices were reasonable and portions were large -- hope they make it.

My Wife and I tried it a couple of weeks back..Food was good and reasonable prices...They where busy so the service was slow. But, We sat out on the deck and had a great view while we waited...I will be back.

My wife and I stopped in yesterday,also.We had the smoked wings appetizer ( excellent,hot temp wise and tender) We also had the beef tip lunch special with two sides.( beef tips were great,all sides hot and tasty) Very reasonably priced!! We met the owner who was sincerely genuine and accomodating. We wish them very much success!! Please Lake Martin folks get out there and give them a try!! GeauxTigers!!!

We were there twice this past weekend.....the food was great both times!..We did take out Sunday night and the dinner for two lasted us for several meals this week...great to have another good resturant on the water.....

..have had the St. Louis ribs and the Angus Burger...both absolutely fantastic...sides were great, especially the baked sweet potato--BEST I have ever had....service was great...I really love that place!

..actually, after a year of eating mostly apple sauce, oatmeal, cheerios, and jello I would rave about a lot of things...but I did enjoy my two trips to Nick's...
