I guess I should include an actual picture, but that would involve me getting up, finding camera, uploading, etc....but this is my favorite time of the year on Lake Martin.

Sitting on my porch, perfect temps, water is still as glass, and the sun has spot lighted the tree line with leaves the color of fall. And it is a double take as the same picture is reflected in the water.

I'm thinkin' evening boat ride tomorrow or Thursday. Got a message from Summer Place, and he's around too....get out the binoculars and see if he's out at the tiki bar. Is your boat still in? Any backing for an "occupy Lake Martin" initiative before it cools off again on Friday?

Boat is still in as of today. We have some relatives coming from Oregon in November and I am trying for all the boat time that I can get this year. Will be around but will not be home til about 5:30 each day. Sun blinds me when I look toward Tiki Bar.

Lakngulf, you are dead on about this being a wonderful time on the lake. Great Fall weather that has to be enjoyed by getting out on the water. My wife and I plan to take one of our boats out this afternoon and cruise some of the area around Parker Creek and up toward the Narrows.
