What scares the right about Romney is they really don't know what to believe with his various flip flops. He is trying to avoid positions so can avoid criticism as evidenced by the following from your post:

talked about how assertive he will be when he is president, he declined
to be assertive now."
At least Newt take positions and expresses them....positive or negative.
The first primary that is winner take all is South Carolina. Iowa and NH are split based on the percentage of votes each receives. I think SC will go a long way in deciding the winner.

The only flip flopper that is not assertive is your own Oblamer .... it is sad how you can throw stones when you have your own disaster for the last 3.5 years. Oblamer said he wated a 1 year extension and no one would go home until he got it ... the house PASSED a one year extension ... the dem senate passed 2 months ... now he is pointing fingers at the house when it was the GOP house that gave him what he asked for. So what does he want now?
All the payroll companies came out and said what a huge nightmare a 2 month extension would be to program, then if it changes again it is huge expense, if it could even get done. Business people know you file a 941 once a quarter ... a 2 month extension just demonstates the ignorance of law makers.
I expect ignorance from you, since you demonstrate it with each of your posts ... but comeon, law makers are suppose to understand the burden of business trying to comply with their silly changes in the law for political gains.

Water Boy, we actually agree . Your description of Romney as SPiNELESS is perfect. i can see the headlines in Atlanta "Lake Martin Forum posted Water-Watcher describes Romney as SPiNELESS!!!!!!! Looks like Mitch was hung out to dry by John. The Republicans can't even coordinate their house and senate positions. You know that the 2 month extension is just that. it will be extended for another 10 months when they return in late January. Obama is rising in the polls for acting so presidential.

zer0's rise in approval ratings has nothing to do with the tax cut issue, and everything to do with his following Bush 43's time table for bringing our service men and woman home. The ridiculous for a 2 month tax cut extension passed by the Senate included the Keystone XL provision, an issue certain to cost zer0 approval points. And for some of the earlier thread responders, the Republican field, combined, doesn't distantly approach the flaws demonstrated by the 2012 Democrat Presidential field over the last 3 years.

That is all jellyfish can hope for ... Oblamer "act" presidential now and then since he does not have the balls to actually be presidential. Palin would have out shined Oblamer and the country would have been moving in the right direction.
I saw the bombing and civil war in Iraq has started again already ... way to cut and run Oblamer.
