What is the update there on the weather this morning around the lake?  Any damage from the storms?

Mostly rain in Sandy Creek. Some short term wind, few trees etc. No disasters.

Lots of rain but haven't seen any damage yet.  BTW I love how the weather robot pronounces Kowaliga.

Some heavy rain and lighting in the Parker Creek. Tornado reported in the Goodwater area. Few limbs on the back roads along Coosa 20. No damage that I am aware of. I believe all our Parker Creek Neighbors are just fine. Water is muddy and with a lot of trash (natural debris like leaves & etc.) and floating logs.

To echo what Feb says about the debris in the lake.  In ten years of full time living here, we've never had as much trash, logs, etc. in our slough.  Wonder if the higher water level had something to do with more floating stuff?  That being said, lots of fun this morning after the weather radio starting going off.  Good television coverage, weather-wise, from Channel 6 out of Birmingham.  Sometimes we almost get too much information

I used to listen to the NOAA broadcasts just to hear the computer say Tundertorms in Tuckaloosa.
