Obama and Gas prices

Fox played quotes from liberal dems when Bush was in office and gas prices were about a dollar below where they are today.
It was all how horrible it is and a tax on american people, that Bush needs to take action to lower gas prices ... and Obama stated if he was in office he would immediately release from the strategic reserves to lower the price of oil and bring charges to the oil companies that are over charging.
Guess what ... Obama did commission and investigation of oil companies for price fixing , but .... nothing was found. It seems we just need to drill more domestically and stop buying so much foreign oil.
So now what is the media saying and Obama ... excuses, demand is up, the economy can handle higher oil prices. But nothing about another failed policy of Obama focusing on failed solar ventures, subsidizing electric car manufactures (even though oil powers a high percent of power plants), failure to put forth an energy policy using more domestic natural gas, drill bans, failure to approve pipeline, etc, etc.
My how the tune changes ... just like the 5% unemployment rate under Bush ... that was horrible, it was all Mcjobs and WalMart jobs. Now the real unemployment rate is still over 15% (yes it was disclosed that Obama order than anyone that is no longer collecting unemployment for 4 weeks or more is to be dropped from the unemployment rate calculation). You don't want a "real" rate like that being talked about want the blamer in cheif is trying to tell the american people how good things are getting.

This is for the month of February. I wonder if GF will post on this when the numbers come out.....oh, wait a second, BLS will just remove another 1 million people from the roles and the number may even drop. Only a fool would believe that unemployment is going down.....or a left wing nut....but I repeat myself.
Some good news has occurred with the Dow going over 13,000 for the first time in a while. Our only hope is that will translate into more spending by consumers which drives the economy. I am not optimistic given the tens of millions out of work and home valuations but we can always try to be optimistic. Imagine how quickly this would have happened had we not had Jimmy Carter, II as POTUS!!

One test that the economy is improving is the attack by the right on Obama and his religious beliefs. It may play well in the primary but will help reelect Obama is 2012. 87% of those earning over $75,000 own stock and 13,000 is moving in the right direction for reelection.

"The attack by the right on his religious beliefs" is a frigging joke. The vast majority on the right could care less whether he is a Christian, Muslim, agnostic or atheist. All they care about is his desire to redefine America into another failed socialist state like all of Europe......how's that working out for them? Honestly GF, do you hate America that much?
