Thanks to LNG for naming this years March Madness pool....far be it for me to put my name in the title of something for I am way too modest...I believe it is going to be another great tournament and hope we get all our regulars and some new players in the pool. If you have joined or played any of our pools in the last year or so, the pool should show up on your pools when you sign in...if you are new, just follow the info below...email me if you need help.

I watched part of a basketball game yesterday, so I feel ready. Yeah, right. I was planning to pick the underdogs, because they are the ones I pull for anyway.

I call foul!! Have we not been told that watching any games or part of them at all during the season is an automatic disqualification. I don't even watch highlights on the news to make sure that I have not violated the rules. You can probably go back and see that my picks have shown no obvious advance knowledge the past years and will do so again this year.

Well, Lil Talisi is Opa to a new little boy, while lng is poppa to a sweet lil' girl. So I should get double bonus.
I did learn something while watching, and i will share this so it will be fair to all. The "there is no way we are going to call traveling" rule has slipped from the pros down into the college ranks. I counted SEVEN steps on one dude. He made a fantastic play, but my seven year old grandson has the same play...run with the ball and shoot.

...agree..in the KY/Vandy game today, a player with the ball stopped his dribble and then drug his back foot a full yard I believe with no traveling call...he still had the ball...

Don't forget when you have completed your picks to pick the TIEBREAKER which is total pts. in championship game (see block to left and above the brackets...then click save and look just to the right to confirm that your picks are complete...good luck!

Well, after consulting with all the experts. Rubbing the head of a redheaded child. Prayer and fasting. Burying the beak of an owl under an oak tree and all the other stuff I can think of to try. I've thrown the darts at my bracket and it's in. Go Cats!
