A portion of her comments on Facebook about the real issues of this country that Obama should be concerned about rather than attacking her for labeling him a radical. "Just off the top of my head, a few of these concerning issues include: a debt crisis that has us hurtling towards a Greek-style collapse, entitlement programs going bankrupt, a credit downgrade for the first time in our history, a government takeover of the health care industry that makes care more expensive and puts a rationing panel of faceless bureaucrats between you and your doctor (aka a “death panel”), $4 and $5 gas at the pump exacerbated by an anti-drilling agenda that rejects good paying energy sector jobs and makes us more dependent on dangerous foreign regimes, a war in Afghanistan that seems unfocused and unending, a global presidential apology tour that’s made us look feeble and ridiculous, a housing market in the tank, the longest streak of high unemployment since World War II, private-sector job creators and industry strangled by burdensome regulations and an out-of-control Obama EPA, an attack on the Constitutional protection of religious liberty, an attack on private industry in right-to-work states, crony capitalism run amok in an administration in bed with their favored cronies to the detriment of genuine free market capitalism, green energy pay-to-play kickbacks to Obama campaign donors, and a Justice Department still stonewalling on a bungled operation that armed violent Mexican drug lords and led to the deaths of hundreds of innocent people." Quite similar to Barneget's post below under the "dose of common sense" thread.

Lets just hope the Republican Party does not put the press on Romney they did on McCain. I trust Romney has better sense, and want select as unqualified VP running mate as this quiitter.

This is going to be a fun election.

Oblamer deserves everything he gets for the distruction he has created, not to mention his failure of leadership.

Before the general election has even started, his disapproal is on the rise.

Let him move back to his dem state that is in the worst condition in the US with the highest taxes.   It proves high taxes do not reduce deficits ... it just makes dems spend more of what they don't have and can't afford.

I think it will be Rubio ... I don't see how Oblamer can win without Florida.   He would have to win every other state he won last time ... which is a strech, plus take some he did not.  The math is not looking good, especially with the redistricting from the cencus.

Acorn will have to get a lot of dead people to vote.

I suspect you wish she and others would quit pointing out these issues which can't be honestly disputed.

I can dispute any and all of those "issues". It's like she is quoting from some conservative right wing talking points. But talk is cheap -- maybe she can tell everyone why she chose not to run - she humiliated herself by her lack of knowledge last time, and I suspect she has no answers now, either. It's easy to point the finger, but not so easy to come up with solutions. And yes, she is still a quitter. She quit her job and left her state in a lurch. Good thing she has you and others to champion her; I don't think you would find too many in Alaska that are singing her praises -- except for the ones that are glad she is gone. I'm convinced some people would vote for a talking pig, as long as he could spout the party line.

Actually WW, Obama's math is looking pretty good. In 2008 Obama carried the following states that Kerry lost in 2004...Nev, Col, NM, Fla, Va, Ohio, Iowa, NC, and Ind. If Obama carries only the states Kerry took in 2004 (certainly not unreasonable to expect) he has 245 electoral votes. If he can pick off Fla he is elected, If he can take Ohio + Col he's elected, if he can combine Va, Col and Nev he's elected, if he can get Col, NM, Nev and Iowa he's elected, any number of other of combinations and he's elected. Sorry to ruin your evening WW.

Tell me WW. What do you plan to say and do if Obama is re-elected? As I have said...count me in on the "WW is moving to Costa Rica Fund".

I don't think he will get Florida, Colorado or Va ... Ohio is is toss up only because of the number of factory workers that are union and Oblamer is the union boss.   Think about it ... such a blue collar state and it is a toss up.   Can you spell danger?   How about the falling approval rating and ever higher disapproval when you yourself are touting how things are getting better.   But the latest estimate of total unemployed is closer to 23% ... I believe that number based on what I see.

You can not even be original ... you take the ABO (anybody but Oblamer) and you have to copy that and try to use it ... then you can not even use proper english.   A true liberal.

It is like the occupy protesters in front of AT&T building in downtown Atlanta with their mispelled signs protesting that AT&T layed off land line workers due to the declining demand ... as the protesters sat there and talked on their cell phone.   Earth to protesters ... that is why.   Ask how many of them have land line phones.   Ang gee, how many hundred of thousand jobs were created from cell phones.

What fools ... just like you.

Oh he//, I don't want you to go...you're always good for a laugh, and laughter is the best medicine. My biggest chuckle is going to come when I observe your reaction to "four more years" of President Obama.

Oh, that is sweet.

I would not be counting those 4 more years yet ... but if it does happen, just like we were all right this last time about how his policies will fail ... we will be right again.  But sadly it will be too late when you finally open your eyes.  Then you will be reviewed by the death panel and determine you are not worth the rationed healthcare, so you can just suffer and they will plan your end of life.

Even though I have confidence in the voting electorate to send this man packing, if he does remain, the repubs will retain control of the House and taken over the Senate.  America will not give him another term without some serious restraints.  Just hope no SC conservatives decide to retire.  Kennedy? maybe...

The Palin "death panels" (which were actually an end of life consultative service originally proposed by Sen. Johnny Issakson and supported By Newtie Gingrich) did not even make it into the final bill because Obama and the Democrats were so scared off by the GOP extremist's rants and raves and with the hope that by removing it they might bring a few reasonable (talk about an oxymoron) Republicans on board. So, don't worry WW, if you get sent to the hospice prematurely it want be by any Obama death panels but more likely by your own private insurer who delays or refuses to pay for needed services. I'll pray for ya.

I think she's ignorant and uninformed.  But I give her credit for being smart enough to go for the money and not embarassing herself again with a run for office.

Since you contend that she is just talking the right wing talking points, could you share with us the talking points from the liberal left wing that would refute what she has said. Remember, you said you could dispute any and all of the issues she listed. Hound, the bottom line is this...Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh are not the problems that need to be addressed. Obama and the Democrat party are the problem.

I agree that some of the extreme left wing is just as ridiculous, but I don't think that applies to the whole of the Democratic party. I don't think the democratic party is any worse than the Republicans have proved themselves to be. And I wouldn't bring Rush Limbaugh up with me-- I'm one of those who thinks he should be taken off the radio, and I've signed about a million petitions to do just that. I'm proud of the fact he has lost sponsors as of women and men letting the sponsors know just how disgusting he is. I can't believe that anyone with a wife, daughter or mother would listen to him after that. So put that in your pipe and smoke it, AU67.

Do you also feel Bill Maher should be taken off the air?  Signed any petitions to that effect?

Problem is that your attitude about Limbaugh flies in the face of the First Amendment.  Because you don't like what he says is not a valid reason to remove him.

I spend a lot of time in hotels, and if the TV happens to land on HBO I may or may not watch.  What I ill do, though is immediately turn to another channel if Maher happens to be on HBO, and I will NOT subscribe to HBO at home, mostly because of him.  I exercise my right not to listen to his garbage.

You do realize, don't you, that Limbaugh is winning over you, that your reaction is just what he wants?

Supreme maybe?   Goofy you disappoint me.  You'd have us believe you have all the answers....except you share none, especially where it comes to logic and reason.  You must have gone fishin when your momma and daddy taught that lesson.

I don't think my opinion with Limbaugh is a First Amendment issue. If it was, I would have had him off the radio a long time ago. But, he stepped over a line and that is the line of civility and decency. Has Bill Maher called anyone a ____ and a ____ And suggested that sexual encounters be posted on the web? I don't think so. As far as I know, he is a political satirist -- but if he has, then he should be off the air too. (You'll have to fill in the blanks, because the Obscene content filter wouldn't let me put in the words) I understand that Limbaugh is an entertainer, much like Howard Stern, who says outrageous things to attract listeners and gain market share. But there comes a time when a line is crossed they go too far. He slandered Ms. Fluke. His so-called apology was minimal. I think it is time to bring a bit of civility back.
