Despite the fact that the water is still cold...this past weekend was so warm, i saw my first 2012 thong and flashing at the ROCK! and it was on someone that could actually pull it off.

Where are other good hangouts on the lake?

With all of that going on why would you go anywhere else! If you ease around the lake and pop in little coves you may be surprised what you find and see.

One day, in the middle of July, my wife and I went up to our place near Chuck's. It was hot as all get-out and the cabin was unbearably hot. I ran in and turned on the A/C and we went down to our pier to wait for the place to cool off. Well, it was very hot and humid and my wife suggested that we just get in the water and wait it out. We both discreetly stripped and got in the water. Well, in about ten minutes, a pontoon boat full of our friends started approaching, so we waded out into about shoulder-deep water, thinking we'd be OK til they left. Suddenly, my wife exclaimed softly "Damn, these things float!!" I laughed and agreed with her and told her to just get under the pier and do the best she could. The folks on the boat figured things out and didn't come any closer and we all had a great laugh over the whole situation. It's funny what memories stick with you over the years! ;-)
