is officially over. What this really means is that he is no longer lying to socially conservative blacks that voted for him in droves in 2008. I am guessing he thinks he has them in the bag in '12 and is going for the rump ranger money bomb. He supposedly raised $1M in the first 90 minutes after announcing that the two gay guys that wanted to get married would have looked like his daughter......I mean, his sons had he had two gay guy sons. No doubt he has officially locked up the vote in San Fransissy and the boys are putting on their makeup and spiked high heels and are going to celebrate tonight. Hey stupid, its the economy this time around and the cheap gimmicks, pandering to every demographic group and the class warfare is not going to work. You're going to have to do something else. The real question here is whether for the black vote it is all about the color of a person's skin or if they in fact do consider the content of the character, or in this case the incompetence of the character.

I agree it is all about the economy and these are things to "try" and change to talking points on the news since he does not have an economic record to run on. He wants to talk about anything except the economic disaster he has created with his failed policies.

It will be interesting if black churches give up their open opposition to gay marriage now that Oblamer "changed his position" to try and gain the support of another special interest group. Especially when it is and should always stay a state issue. If a state like NC bans it and you are gay and do not like it ... live in another state that may embrace it.

Personally I do not think it will gain him even one extra vote ... but may lose many. He only did it because Biden opened his mouth and if Oblamer did not come out and say the same, he ran the risk of losing a support he had from gays.

But his decision could dampen enthusiasm but I doubt it will send them into the waiting arms of the GOP. Its amazing how they regularly vote against their own best interests, both economically and socially. Too many years being paralyzed by victimhood.....

That is because even though now they have equality (as they should), too many still run to the entitlement and someone to take care of them rather than independence and personal achievement. Oblamer exploits that. He knows the culture. That is why even though blacks feel the dems are best for them, it is not best in creating jobs or reducing poverty, since black unemployment increased under Oblamer, as did the number in poverty. His answer, more entitlements to keep them there so they will not vote against the hand that is feeding them. VERY SAD>

Who wants to bet as we get closer to the election that the Messiah starts to equivocate on his support of gay marriage? He will already have the gay bucks by then. I am guessing the way he will do it is by embracing federalism and leaving it to the states which will send the rump rangers into a tizzy. Tears, wailing and gnashing of teeth, beating of breasts (real, fake and hormone induced) will ensue but they will still vote for him. Its just without this evolution they weren't going to open up their pocketbooks. A fool and his/money are soon parted.........

And now the WaPo is telling us that Romney grabbed some guy with long hair and cut it and this guy was presumed to be gay. Well that's it, I think we can forget Romney getting the gay vote........oh, wait a second, they aren't going to vote him anyway. I am sure this is just a coincidence, right? The government media is so predictable. Its the economy stupid! Keep trying government media but it will not work. When people are suffering through such awful economic conditions made worse by the incompetence of Oblamer they could give a rats behind whether Romney when he was a teenager cut some dude's hair.

probably should be. most would change the liberal law today. If you don't like your states law, most to a state you support ... that way we can get all liberals in liberal states. Would help the voting and taxes. We can more easily see who's policies work better.
