This according to Gallup. Apparently the trend continues as more Americans see the evil of abortion. Of course, while the left loves to crow about it when a majority of Americans support this or that issue I doubt we will hear much about this change in the hearts and minds of Americans.
And of course we keep hearing that this election cycle is all about the economy but Oblamer has lost a lot of support over his gay marriage stance. Kind of makes me think that social issues will have an impact in November although jobs and the deficit will still be on the forefront. But it seems like Oblamer is on the wrong side of all these issues. Of course, none of that matters when compared to the 750 jobs lost by one steel mill that was owned by Bain Capital after Romney left the company. What a bunch of dunces......

41% pro abortion or pro choice? I am pro choice and accept a women's right to choose. I would not encourage a woman to have an abortion. Am I part of the 41%?

Anyone who believes a woman has the right to arrange the murder of an unborn child is pro-abortion. Nice try with the word parsing and the thinly veiled attempt to seek some sort of higher ground but none exists for you.
Think about this way. I am pro choice when it comes to a woman murdering someone that cuts her off in traffic. I would never do it myself and I am personally opposed but I think a woman has the right to arrange for the murder of someone that cuts her off in traffic. Now you may take the position that the little one in the womb doesn't have the same rights as that bad driver but I don't see it that way and neither does 59% of Americans.

Gallup asked are you Pro Life or Pro Choice not are you Pro Abortion. Many people consider themselves to be Pro Life but support abortion under certain circumstances. To you they are NOT Pro Life.
Gallup asked another question with interesting results in the same survey. 52% said abortion should be legal under certain circumstances, 25% said legal under any circumstances, and 20% illegal in all circumstances. It would appear that most people who support abortion in certain circumstances do not consider themselves Pro Choice. This would indicate that 77% support abortion to some degree.
I know you have a strong religious conviction through your Catholic faith and look at it as black or white with no grey area. The statistics above show that people in general support abortion if the woman is raped or incest but may still consider themselves Pro Life.

he asked why you think ... are you capable of having your own thoughts or do you always have to check dems talking points and share them?
Are you in favor of the death penalty? It always cracks me up that pro abortion people feel it is not a problem to kill an innocent life that has never had a chance at life ... but are totally opposed to killing a person that screwed up their own life and took the life of other innocent people.
Back to abortion ... why is it not murder to kill a child not yet born, but if you killed it 1 minute after being born you commit murder?

"he asked why you think" Where did he ask cause I can't find it. However,my initial response stated my position which you may not agree with. You dislike the additional results of the SAME poll MM posted cause it shows 77% support for abortion under certain circumstance. I am envious of the way you consistently twist the truth.
As to the death penalty... I fully support it but feel we allow too many delays. However, I am still Pro Choice. I don't think a female should have to carry a child if her daddy raped her. Evidently, you disagree with me which is your right.

You are against abortion, "except" in the case of rape? That is not a pro choice position, that is much closer to a pro life position. Your liberal friends will be disappointed in you.

If you had a daughter who was gang raped and became pregnant, would you support her decision for an abortion?
