Apparently der Slickmeister is privately telling his friends that Oblamer is destroying the country and the GOP has 6 months to save it. The literal crapola has hit the fan so he was forced to come out and endorse the Messiah.....nod, nod, wink, wink.....

I agree ... watch the interview with Clinton on CNBC tonight ... he says the Bush tax cuts need to be extended immediately and congress (dems) needs to agree to budget cuts to bring some stability to the economy and reduce the uncertainty and deficit.

When Archie and Fish were dancing in the streets and talking about good news, I warned them at that time there were more signs that we were headed back to a recession than happy days are here again.   I also said the market could retest the 9,000 level ... sadly the lower lows and lower highs say we are in a bear market.  We could rally in the S&P up to 1290 since it is so over sold ... but then head back down.   If the sink hole in Europe collapses, the market could drop 25% very quickly bringing us back to the 9000 level.

I don't want that to happen and hope I am wrong ... but if it did, once President Romney is in office, we could see a bull market like we had in the 80's under Regan.

While it squeaked out a small gain today ... the market was down 19 of the last 23 trading sessions.

The hopeless change is reality and scaring the heck out of investors.

I read with interest your earlier post about a 9000 DJA and decided to buy some SPY puts which have been sold at a nice profit. Look forward to your continued posts on the market. Your best buddy Jelly

To the extent that you continue to pay your taxes to support my entitlements.

So do you pay capital gains tax on your stock appreciation?  If so, maybe I don't need to fund your entitlements, since yo fund your own...:>)

They are in a Roth so no tax. It would be a travesty if I had to fund and collect my entitlements. Don't you agree?

I believe you do pay tax on a roth, but you pay now and not later when taxes will more than likely be higher. I know you will most likely find some way for someone else to pay your share, while someone struggles to make ends meet. What a great American they are to pay your way.

You are correct. I paid taxes on the money I put into the Roth but do not pay taxes on the investments in the Roth or when I withdraw money from the Roth.
