The people of Wiscosin, who went heavily for Oblamer in 08, have resoundingly said ENOUGH!

Walker and the Lt Gov beat back organized labor.

Maybe Wisconsin has figured out how the cow eats the cabbage.

I would not get too excited. Here are some results from an exit poll: "The exit polls also showed that 60 percent of Wisconsin voters today said recall elections are only appropriate for official misconduct, while 28 percent think they are suitable for any reason. Nine percent think they are never appropriate. On the other hand, "52 percent of Wisconsin voters in the early exit polls have a favorable view of unions for government workers," and today's voters favor Barack Obama over Mitt Romney in the presidential contest by 51 percent to 45 percent." I agree with that recall elections are appropriate only for official misconduct and would not have voted.

Great news for the GOP and bad news for unions and the dems.  This is a strong union and liberal state, and they came to their senses and saw how good leadership and conservative policies work.  Just like happened in NJ.

The liberal media kept trying to sping this as a close race and Walker killed him .. 9% win even with the unions busing people in to register and vote the same day (something I feel should not be allowed).  If you don't go and register at least 30 days prior to an election ... you don't get to vote.  Same day gives to time to verify information.

The spin game has started by the Obama camp saying how it was a state race.   Yup he is right ... a state race that he was backing the protests and many from his administration spoke out on ... then went silent when they saw Walker would win.  He tweated his support ... how lame and arrogant.

You are listening to the liberal media trying to rationalize the loss ... the facts are the people voted to keep the GOP and spit in the unions face.

They are not talking about that when Walker made it "optional" to be a part of the unions, that union membership dropped to only 28% paying dues.

Yeah, they fully support unions as long as they don't have to pay to be a part of them.

You are in denial, like all the liberals that thought this would send a message ... it did ... that the country is still center right.

This was a 9% beat ... it was not even close.   In one of the most liberal blue states.  So you watch the spin and keep your hopes ... we will watch the actual elections and see what they say.

You have to rely on exit polls for some solace on this recall fiasco? These are the very same exit polls that were wrong on the outcome of the election by 7%. The fact is exit polls notoriously oversample Democrats. Republicans have to get back to work and don't trust the media and polling anyway so they are much less likely to answer exit poll questions. Your typical libtard has all day because their mom and dad don't expect them home anytime soon as they prefer to surf the web for porn at the local library. The fact is $100 million was wasted on this ridiculous recall vote. I hope left wing nut Democrats are paying attention that Americans are sick and tired of government workers that join unions, unions support the very people they allegedly are going to "negotiate" with and the circle continues. Government employees should not be allowed to unionize, let alone forced to join a union just to get a cushy job. While Americans in the private sector were losing their jobs, having benefits slashed, etc. they had to listen to these union people whining about having to pay a little more for the health insurance. Sorry, but they get no sympathy and their insane tactics to try to derail the will of the voters cost them big time. And this isn't Arkansas or Alabama, but Wisconsin. Have also been some interesting voter initiatives in California (San Diego and San Jose) where larger majorities whacked the public sector unions on their lush benefits. My goodness, as California goes...so goes the country, right?!?
