18 years ago, Alberto joined us for the July 4th holidays and it wasn't pretty.....especially a little east of here. Debbie is sharing many of Alberto's early traits and I sure hope she doesn't stall out over land in the same way. If she parks over Lake Martin the way Alberto parked over Americus and Macon, some folks around here are gonna need their flood insurance.

Rain is great but not on June 30, the paddle board race!!

As to lake level, let's stay optimistic. I seem to remember several posts, written as recently as a couple of months ago, predicting we would be at 483 by July 4. No danger of that now.

That y'all would get your wish. And that maybe some would even make it up here..... We are dry as he// and it ain't looking good the 15 days... maybe even up into the triple digits a few days....Lakes never got full this year up here either....
