Can you drive to the amp for the fireworks show on the 4th? Good place for smaller kids? Any advice appreciated for safe viewing

you can drive up by car only. There is no way to drive up to the Amp by boat. There is lots of parking in the field off of Hwy 63. Then they have a trolly that takes you from parking to the amp. Bring lawn chairs, quilts, cooler, etc. See the below video:

Do you think there will be less boats in Kowaliga Bay? Should be able to see fireworks from there.

Some kids will love it! my grandkids when they were 4-5 did not like. Of course, we were sitting under the fireworks and had ashes falling on us... They did not like the noise.....all wore earplugs. 3 years later, best thing ever! Many boats on water, just be careful!
