According to Bloomberg), orders for durable goods and the number of Americans signing contracts to buy an existing home rebounded in May, easing concern the world’s largest economy is faltering.
A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday showed Obama beating Romney in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The poll showed the president with the narrowest margin — just four points — in Florida. He leads by a wider six-point margin in Pennsylvania and by nine points in Ohio.
Meanwhile, a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll of a dozen swing states also showed Obama in the lead. The president topped his rival by a 50 percent to 42 percent margin in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.

is good news for the millions out of work due to Oblamers failed policies. We should all rejoyce when we get a little positive ... no matter how small, and this was very small.
Just like we all should join together to admit what a failure Oblamer has been and when the news is negative, admit it and not try to make excuses and blame Bush or congress.
To the extent the split congress is at fault because the GOP has had the house for 1 1/2 years ... the dems need to take the blame for the recession and the financial crisis and dismal recovery, since they had both houses of congress for the last 6 years of Bush and first 2 of Oblamer.

I saw all that news and agree with WW that any positive economic news is a good thing and despite the actions of Oblamer, not because of them although he will surely get credit with the government media. Of course, I could counter the tidbits of positive economic news with a torrent of bad news but there's no point. When a Dem is President the government media accentuates the positive no matter how insignificant and hides all the bad news and does the opposite when we have a GOP President. Just the way it is...
As for your polls you need to look at them carefully to see if they properly sampled the population and whether it is of likely voters or registered voters. Also, you need to understand that Romney has not even begun to run TV and radio ads in swing states but Oblamer has already spent millions. So don't fool yourself, this race is dead even right now, even in the swing states and all the gay and hispanic pandering, the latter in violation of the Constitution, is not having the effect he desired.
