We showed up at Nick's about 7:30 and sat on the deck. I told our waitress we were going to just hang out for awhile and she said it was fine. As a matter of fact, she was perfect, I had to get her attention to order food but she kept the drinks coming the whole time. We met a couple of semi-lurkers that were really nice from Marietta and they even shared their crabclaws. Dayum they were good.
The fireworks were great. I was the one that hooted at the finale around 10:30 in case you had more than one. If any of you decide to do this next year wait till about 9:00 pm to show up... maybe 9:30, I think that would work best for y'all. Everybody on Nick's deck enjoyed the show, especially the kids.

And thanks to my neighbors on both sides of Parker Creek for the varied display of fireworks. Nothing like sitting in my hammock chair on my porch and enjoying the show.

Not sure if "entertaining" was the right word but they did gravitate back to me to listen to more of my pontificating. They are great kids and I enjoyed chatting with them a lot especially since we know how much they love being dragged to people's houses they don't know. :-) Of course great kids come from great parents so the kudos go to you and your lovely wife.
Thanks also for the ride on your rocket ship that some would call a boat. Was a blast.......literally and figuratively....... Thanks also for taking care of Stef's boat. He was happy to hear it was back safe and sound and ready to be used.

My pyro-son brought some midrange dynamite stuff that turned out well. Like you, I watched the action from a recliner. Passed the torch to the younger generation to keep up the tradition. Someone West of me was shooting some big stuff also.

Thanks for a great firework display. We enjoyed it from Uncle Nicks - with good ceiling fans and music on the outside deck plus great food (and drinks of course). We will plan to do it again next yr if you are planning to do the fireworks.
Sandy Tiger, it was great to meet you and your wife. We were glad to share the crab claws.
