Am wondering if others heard his answer during an actually very good interview by some lady at CBS (who won't last long if she asks fair questions of Republicans and then lets them answer). If you haven't I suggest you look it up and then let me know what you think.
The essence of his argument is that it is OK for states to force people to buy health insurance and that it is constitutional for them to have a penalty for those that don't. My response to this is that he is factually correct but it makes him a very poor person to argue against Obamacare (just as Rick Santorum argued in the primaries). If this election is too much about Obamacare and not enough about the economy, national defense and selected social issues then the hill will be a little steeper for Romney.
I think many Americans will not understand the nuanced argument he is making, even if it is correct. What say you?

It is embarrassing that while your supporters have abandoned you, your friend has not. Romney’s likeability index is similar to Nixon’s and as the father of mandated healthcare in MA povides him with limited credibility to address the subject. This lack of credibility is causing his likeability index to go lower and lower just as with Nixon. Don’t you wish you had a candidate who could speak against Obamacare with some credibility and someone who the voters felt they could trust ? Quit throwing your money away supporting a flip flopper.

I am not sure I even understand what you wrote except that last part about liberals being my friends almost made me want to gack! As for the Nixon analogy, remember he got elected so you might not want to take much comfort in that. Besides, all these polls on that subject don't limit themselves to likely voters and almost always over sample leftists.
The only one that counts is in November. And as I have said before Oblamer has better than even odds to win regardless of whether it is Romney or some other GOP candidate. Such is the documented advantage of incumbency. Now hold out your hand and swallow the green, yellow and blue pills and you will feel all better....... On the other hand, don't take the blue pill as that's the one Oblamer said your doctor wil give you so you can die and save the gov't money on your health care.

Dude, he ain't liked by independents. Whenever a poll suits your narrow view, the results are credible. Otherwise, polls don't mean much or if is mostly leftists who participate. Give us a break. My meds are part of my entitlement so just keep producing and paying your quarterly estimates. The parrots who support your posts are waiting for you to feed them another cracker.

Like I said, you have to look at the internals of these polls to know whether they have any meaning at all. As for my supposedly only liking polls with the results I like nothing could be further from the truth. If you showed me a Rasmussen, Zogby or a couple of other polls that are credible saying Independents don't like Romney then I will give it some credence.
Besides, you seem to think that the fact that Oblamer has decent personal likability numbers that this will equate to votes in November. First of all, I don't believe these numbers anyway because I think a lot of people say they personally like TOTUS out of fear of being labeled a racist if they don't. And secondly, there is nothing to prevent them from saying, "Hey, he's a nice guy, has a nice family, but is a complete incompetent, socialist moron and I need to vote for the other guy because while I may not find him all that likable he is competent".
Fact is the recent CNN poll had Romney leading the Messiah in the 13 battleground states 51-43.....and that's CNN! Now if you believe that given the definition of battleground means a state like Georgia then you really do need your meds. But this is just one poll at one point in time and the real test is in November and to repeat myself, Oblamer still has better than even odds to win.
