Don't fall for GF's non-sequitur. He could have picked anyone and he would have lost. And had he selected someone more like him it would have even been worse because conservatives were lukewarm to McCain at best. No doubt some other GOP VP choices might have made it closer but still no cigar for McCain. America wanted change in 2008 and boy did they get it.....change for the worse and hopeless to boot.
What I think is even more devastating was Dems picking the Messiah over more qualified candidates and then Independents ignoring all the telltale warning signs that Oblamer would be and now has been an unmitigated, total disaster for the country. 100 days left to begin the restoration of America. Romney 2012!!!!!

McCain maintained his campaign selected Palin, who was a first-term governor of Alaska at the time, "because we thought that Sarah Palin was the better candidate." Now, tell me if she was a better candidate than Romney in 2008, what has he done to suddenly make him a better candidate than OBAMA 2012. Nothing and everything else is just right wing rhetoric to try and justify voting for a RINO. He was a disaster in england and continues to hide facts surrounding his $100million 401k. Save your money for another Malibu and quit wasting it on a disaster.

Dickie should have backed up a little further and observed that McCain should have never beer nominated. He was Bob Dole V2.0.
I don't know why but when the country needs them the most the Republicans seem to snatch defeat out of the mouth of victory. I don't think that will happen this year though and Obama will heap disaster on the Democrats as is deserved.

Live in the present and leave the past in the past. You can control the future by not voting for 4 more years of the disaster we have just live through ... some have not been so lucky ... Romney 2012 !!!
The VP this time will be Rubio, Christie or Portman ... all three excellent choices and infinitely better than Biden ... Palin would have also been an excellent VP and well outshined Biden, just as she did in the debates.

As I have repeatedly stated, Oblamer has better than even odds to win. Such is the advantage of incumbancy and the ability to use government funds for campaigning, paying off allies, punishing enemies, etc. But if he loses he will go down in history like the worthless one Jimmy Carter and GHW (Read my lips) Bush as one hit wonders.
Time will tell and if he wins I will expect you, Archie, coppertop and the other libtard posters to be in full crow mode. And if Oblamer is sent on his Hate America World Tour the rest of us adults that love the country will simply breathe a sigh of relief and give thanks to the Lord Almighty that he has ended our national nightmare.......such is the life of politics.

It is the economy stupid ... the problem with liberals is they have to attack Romney's success like it is a bad thing ... only because Oblamer has accomplished nothings, actually made things much worse. My God, after 4 years he is still talking about Bush. When did Bush ever blame anyone for the tech bubble collapse or 911 ... he handled it like a true leader and got results. I will take the Bush economy any day over what Oblamer has given us the last 4 years. Double gas prices, double the national debt, regulation that destroys jobs, 42 straight months of unemployment about 8% with real unemployment closer to 20%. Housing market still on its butt, prices still falling .... tell me how that has been good for the middle class. The turd is a complete failure. Thank God we have a real leader running and will clean up the mess Oblamer is leaving. And I bet Romney does not blamer Oblamer for 4 years ... real leaders do not blame others, they take responsibility for their failures.
And get off your high horse about more disclosures from Romney .... we all know he made a lot of money, so what .... if I were him, I would say, when Oblamer unseals all the records he has sealed, then I will gladly release any other additional information from years ago.
The media should be asking what is Oblamer hiding ... the info he will not release and actually has ordered sealed is much, much more relavant information the american people should know about who is running this country.
