So I now know that the driver of the white Baja (with aqua and purple design) is not only the one who has NO respect for the ones around him (ie: blaring music at midnight, driving too fast at night and I'm sure drinking while being this stupid)... He is also a moron! Driving at top speed back and forth this morning trying to impress anyone who would watch... Not thinking of the ones on wave runners OR those who are pulling children on tubes... Where was the water patrol when this show-off jumped a wake and came VERY close to flipping his boat? Must have un-nerved him enough to park it. THIS is the sort of person who gives others who have these boats a bad name! I don't have anything against those boats... Just this sort of jack... "moron" who drive them!

My family went yesterday afternoon and spent last night with some friends in the Real Island area. It was a lot of fun but I was surprised how crowded it was. I wonder if a lot of folks were at the lake for Ampapalooza.

Also, I don't think it was the same Baja boat, but 3 dudes in some other go fast stopped by our dock near dusk to ask if we knew where the band party was.  I of course said no. They said that someone had invited them, and it was in the Real Island area.  They asked us if they were in the right area.  When I said yes, you are in the Real Island area, they said, well, we can keep looking. I said good luck, you've got at least 30 miles of shoreline to scour.  As they drove away, we chuckled and gave them a 1% chance of finding it but a 50% chance of getting pulled over for running without lights.

>> I was at my Real Island lake home today ( Sunday ) and saw the same thing JoyRider. I even made a comment to my friend about how fast they were going. 1 speed – “ Wide Open “ and loud !!! >> >> I have not seen a Marine Patrol around all season in our area. They might also be interested in watching the PWC activity. >> >> “ Wix “ – I wish I could get their registration number. But that would require “ speed reading “ and I would have to put my glasses on also !!! When I can remember where I set them down !!! Its hell when you are getting old. >>

Marine Police are short handed this year from what I've heard, so they only respond when called. Call 'em. Look-at-me's really PI$$ me off.

Wonder how a wake big enough to turtle a Baja, got produced.

I would say it was his own wake... He went from one end and back 3 times in a matter of minutes... It would have served him right if he had flipped because of the wake he had produced himself... That's what stupidity would have done for him!

You would think a boat like that going WOT would make a small wake

You KNOW that a boat like that going WFO would NOT produce big wake, but I get your point, thank you and drive through.. Now the wakeboats pulling tubes - running a slalom course and all eyes onboard watching the tube, or the PWC riding 3 up, and pulling 3 more in the same fashion...

I don't have a Baja, Fountain, Formula, Cigarette, etc. ..........

I do have a 13' Whaler with a 60 on it.  It must impress, because most of the time it gets the
boobsoutofthebikini when it lands after plaining.
