Chick-fil-a announced by 1pm this afternoon that they surpassed their previous all time sales record for one day. I know I was in line with work associates by 11:45 in downtown Atlanta and the line was 2 blocks long. We did not get to the register until about 12:35. They had extra registers set up and i asked the girl when did the lines start and she said even at breakfast there was a line out the door and it never stopped.

Great response and it certainly sends a message to the liberals trying to deny free speech to those that do not agree with their extreme point of view.

Maybe the turd in the whitehouse will flip flop again and change his position back to being against gay marriage after he sees how the majority thinks.

Just like Scott Walker, the liberals miscalculated and the center right came out in force and spit in their face.

I saw a great picture that demonstrated what hypocrites liberals are ... it said, so you will not eat at Chick-fil-a because they are against gay marriage and homosexuals ... so are you also going to stop buying gas for your car since OPEC countries put homosexuals to death?

That is just one of the many blatant hypocrisies of the left wingnuts. They only believe in freedom of speech for "approved" speech and of course, only they can define what warrants approval. Why do you think they so admire the Chi-commies? If you could get a true moment of honesty out of a leftist they would tell you that the government should be able to control speech. How else can you explain their continued love affair with the misnamed Fairness Doctrine, gun control, banning of things they don't like, environmental wackoism, etc. Its all about gov't control of every aspect of our life all administered by a leftist intellectual that knows what is best for us. That is why they detest the Tea Party movement and likewise this response in support of Chick Filet. Of course this garnered scant coverage by the government media but when we have a few lezbos sucking face in a Chick Filet it will make a big splash. Just like their wildly overstated coverage of the OWS dirtballs, they will falsely make a big deal out of Friday's homo-erotic face sucking. They are consistent in their desire to be financially ruined as long as they still get invited to the right cocktail parties.

and the "Kiss In" they will stage ... what will it accomplish ... just make other people look at them like freaks. Do straight people go to gay bars and conduct public displays of affection to make gays feel uncomfortable?

It is so sad when a minority group has to try and force their life style on to others. Go do what you want and leave the majority out of it. Or don't support businesses that do not align with your point of view ... but the great thing about the US is you have the freedom of choice ... because if you were in a Muslim country they would put you to death for that life style.

That's just the thing, they don't really want to be free to engage in whatever disgusting behavior they seem to enjoy. They want you and I to have to accept that behavior. They know in their hearts that what they do is wrong and destructive and they seek the forced acceptance of others in order for them to feel better about themselves and their choices. Its not enough for them to have the right to bugger away, they have to try to force those of us that know better to have to accept their choice. It is exhibit #1 of what is wrong with their entire activist agenda. And for those of you that don't believe in the slippery slope argument all you have to do is look at the history of gay activist movement. Every time they get one accommodation for their bizarre lifestyle they are on to the next. Their ultimate agenda is for you and I and every other intellectually honest person that sees the lifestyle for what it is to be silenced. Heck, if they could figure out a way to force us to not even think these thoughts, let alone express them, they would do it. Come to think of it, that is exactly what they are doing in the government schools and most universities. All this destruction of our society so 2% to 3% of the people with bizarre gender attraction issues can justify their immoral behavior.

Yeah, like that disgusting pervert Sally Ride. There she was diddling her life away with that destructive bizarre behavior when she could have been blogging on a forum and letting everyone else know what is right and wrong. And what a ho. After only 28 years in her twisted relationship she had the nerve to expect her partner to get survivor benefits. And after having done practically nothing with her life. Hate her. Well I better simmer down before someone gets the idea that I protest too much about something that has so very little to do with my life.

The whole 'benefits' issue is a straw man argument. Anyone can leave anything and everything to anyone with a simple will. Life insurance simply requires you name a beneficiary. The only thing that I can think of that might be negatively affected is SS benefits. I am not sure if they can be assigned to same sex or not. But if anyone of Sally Rides' accomplishments was depending on SS benefits to survive, well there is more going on than an alternative lifestyle.
