Makes perfect sense to me. It would not at all surprise me that Oblamer claimed to be a foreign exchange student in order to get preferential treatment in admissions and financial aid and that his grades in college sucked. Interesting isn't it that the WSJ interviews 400 of the Messiah's classmates and not one remembered him at Columbia. That simply isn't possible, especially at a relatively small school like Columbia (around 4,000 and obviously even less in Oblamer's major).

Would love to see Romney challenge Oblamer as follows: For every year of your college records you release I will release one year of tax returns, starting with Columbia. I suspect the issue of tax returns will not be brought up again and Harry Reid will get a midnight call from Chicago telling him to shut his foolish mouth. Now that would be some good theater but Romney has too much class and is too much of a gentlemen to do it. Such a pity......

Not sure why you think this fact check has anything to do with the gist of the article. Root doesn't claim Oblamer wasn't registered or even that he wasn't a student. He simply refers to a WSJ article about not one of 400 classmates remembered the Messiah. The fact check confirms that this article exists. Which of course raises the question of whether he spent all his time at Columbia doing drugs (something he admitted in his now known as a fiction piece, Dreamed Up Stuff About My Father...and My Fictional Girlfriend or whatever it is called) and rarely attended class.
What my reading of what Root is saying is he thinks that TOTUS either: a) lied about his citizenship status in order to get preferential admissions treatment and financial aid; or b) he is lying about his being a U.S. citizen. He also thinks his grades were not very good which of course raises questions about how he got into Harvard Law.....but we all know the answer to that one anyway so to me it is moot. Now there is no evidence of this being the case but the seriousness of the charge certainly warrants Oblamer releasing all his college records, don't you agree? I mean, what could he possibly fear as he is a U.S. citizen and is brilliant and certainly deserved everything he got while riding the affirmative action train all the way to the White House, right?
But anyway Casey, keep bringing the fact checks or snopes or whatever because if I supported this failure of a President I would want to change the subject any way I could. Again, Romney releases one year of tax returns for every year of Oblamer's records at Columbia......want to bet he won't take that challenge?

Even if they found "one" person, which could be a plant or liar to help the liar Oblamer. But college transcripts and Oblamers classification as a student, how he paid is much more relavant than "old" tax returns. Plus we know Romney was successful, right and legally paid a low tax rate because he followed the law and gave a high percentage of his income to charity and the church. is that a bad thing? Why is success under Oblamer bad when someone follows the tax code. if he was a tax cheat like his Tresury secretary and others in his administration, that would be another issue. But he is not.
Yet not one speaks a word about all the records Oblamer had sealed, including his law clients, papers he wrote, grades, how he voted in the state senate, why his wife was disbarred in iL and why he "voluntarily" gave up his license to practice law.
if he had nothing to hide, why is he hiding it. Romeny released 3 years of tax returns, why more must people know and who cares.
You know growing up ... i never remember my dad or mom thinking it was bad or evil someone was rich ... if you saw a nice home it was part of the american dream to succeed. For some reason Oblamer wants to make success a bad thing ... yet he has done nothing to help the middle class as he says he is the champion. if he has, name one thing. He does not want to help the middle class, he wants to bring down the upper class ... that is socialism. He wants government to be the creators of jobs and destroy the free enterprise. That has been tried and failed everywhere ... look at Europe.

Obama is the most un-vetted president this nation has ever known. That he “appears out of the fog” without a shred of credentials… is the “elephant in the room” for any thinking person.
Remember, if you withheld this much critical information, you could not have a security clearance… much less join the military… you could not hold a professional position with any major company in the United States.
What does “sealed” mean? Why is it necessary? Why does Obama want this information hidden? Who has the authority to “seal” documents and information? Do the American voters have a right to this information? Can seals be bought?

Not sure why you are calling me a libtard and very sure I don't appreciate it. I was just posting a factual site instead of e-mail forwards. Fact checking should be non-partisan and too frequently overlooked when one's opinion matches what he or she sees. Please...don't call me names for wanting posters to check facts.

Anyone that posts an irrelevant fact check must be a libtard but if you are not I apologize. But I notice you didn't respond to the substance of my post which is this fact check was about whether Oblamer went to Columbia. That is not what Root is saying and not the point of the article. So why try to refute the article and the comments I made on the subject with your cut and paste and arrogant "facts get in the way" line (by the way, accusing someone of cutting and pasting after you cut and paste is the sign of a liberal......the inability to see their own hypocrisy when they criticize others.....just saying).
Facts do not get in the way of what the article says nor do facts get in the way of my comments. So can you possibly find another fact check or snopes or whatever that refutes the claim that TOTUS won't release his college records? I didn't think so and now we can get back to the topic at hand which is he is hiding something and others have opined what they think it is.

Barney, he is typical of that mindset, they don't critically examine what they post but hope that if they throw it against the wall it might stick. Of course he missed the entire point of the article and my comments because it is a sad and growing fact that Oblamer has something very serious to hide about his past. Had the government done their job back in 2008 he would never have gotten elected and we would be well on the way to recovering from this economic nightmare.

I don't mind at all. I am often called names on this forum, although not so much since Hound lost her delete privileges and took her ball and went home and Archie and the other libtards post so infrequently because the news is so infrequently beneficial to TOTUS. GF is my most frequent nemesis but he is the most unusual of all liberals.....he actually seems to have a sense of humor, warped that it is......
I just get annoyed more than usual with the fact check/snopes links when they have no real connection to the issue at hand as if that should be the end of the discussion and the source and summit of all that is true in the world. especially when accompanied with the line about facts getting in the way of an opinion when nothing could be further from the truth.
Liberals, they believe so much that just isn't true....

Read my post and the fact check and you will realize that it was not relevant to the assertion being made about Oblamer and his college record. Here's a simple test for you and an opportunity to prove me wrong and that I lied.
Provide documentation that he did not apply to Columbia and/or Harvard as a foreign student.
Provide documentation that he got outstanding grades at Columbia that would justify his being accepted into Harvard Law.
Provide documentation that the WSJ did not write an article about calls to 400 of his classmates and that none of them remembered him.
I will await your proof and if you can do so I will gladly retract my statements.

Actually we know who paid for Clarence Thomas' education. It is spelled out very nicely in his book, which no one as yet has found a composite girlfriend or other fabrications like Oblamer's book. If you go back and re-read my post it was very clear that I was commenting on one man's musings about why the Messiah won't release his college records. It is clear that I don't know. But it is interesting that you are critiquing this guy about something of which he at least has some basis of knowledge but seem to have no problem with Dingy Harry and his imaginary friend.....oh wait a second, it turns out that people are now coming out of the woodwork and calling him to confirm this story. He just can't seem to identify any of them. That's because he is lying, he made it up, Pinnochio would be ashamed. At least be consistent.....either it's ok to raise these issues or it isn't.
