Recent examples of how Oblamer is going to run this campaign. - Recent ad by super-pac claiming Romney killed some woman. Turns out to be an absolute lie and this disgusting guy that used his wife's death is worse than Adam Smith. - Lies about the hazing of a rump ranger while in high school - Harry Reid and his imaginary friend from Bain and the lies about Romney's tax returns - All the attacks on Bain Capital and private equity in general. Still debatable about whether these ads are actually working but my guess is they will have an impact. The question is whether Romney will respond or be the nice guy like McCain and take his lumps? Am watching and wondering.....

I have replied to your comments but lets try to stay on task here. Is Romney up to the style of politics that Oblamer is practicing? Is he up to the task of responding to the politics of personal destruction rather than pointing to his opponents record and policies? That was the question. - Recent ad by super-pac claiming Romney killed some woman. Turns out to be an absolute lie and this disgusting guy that used his wife's death is worse than Adam Smith. NEED TO KILL THE AD Agree but where are the demands from the government media that the administration denounce this obvious lie? No need to answer as we all know why. - Lies about the hazing of a rump ranger while in high school IT'S TRUE. SHOW EVIDENCE THIS IS A LIE The stories about this event stated that Romney hazed the guy because he was homosexual. The guy's family refuted this assertion and even claimed if he were alive he would resent the implication. Romney himself did not recall the event but never denied other than to say he had no idea what the guy's sexuality was and at the time no one cared or would know. So this was a lie. You see GF, if you make an assertion with three truths and one lie it is still a lie. - Harry Reid and his imaginary friend from Bain and the lies about Romney's tax returns HOW DO YOU KNOW HE IS LYING? YOU HOPE HE IS LYING. I know he is lying and in your heart you know he is lying. He made up out of whole cloth this imaginary friend of his who used to be a Bain investor and then it morphed into "several people". Wonder why Reid refused to identify his source or sources? Because that person does not exist and he is lying. Secondly, he said Romney hasn't paid any taxes for the last 10 years. Well guess what GF, the last 10 years includes 2010 and 2011, both years in which Romney had taxable income and paid taxes. So from that alone we know Reid is a liar. Even the WaPo gave Reid 4 Pinocchio's for that whopper. And just so I am clear, if you recall the fairy tale Pinocchio's nose grew when he LIED. Reid is lying because he claims to know something he does not know and is channeling Dick Gephardt with his imaginary source. And besides, how would some Bain investor know about Romney's tax returns anyway? The guy left Bain in 1999 (that's 13 years ago in case you are math challenged). This entire assertion is a lie. - All the attacks on Bain Capital and private equity in general. ALL?? THAT'S STRETCHING THE TRUTH. YOU ARE LIVING IN A DREAM WORLD. No, I am living in the real world because I have seen and heard the words come out of Oblamer's mouth as well as his minions and sycophants in the government media. It is funny GF, they attack Bain and private equity and then when the truth comes out they move onto the next lie without ever having to respond to the earlier lie. That my friend is Chicago-style politics aided and abetted by the government media that has picked sides. And I refer you to the their use of the term "vulture capital" as just one of many examples of their constant attacks. You are living in a dream world if you don't think their entire campaign revolves around the politics of personal destruction, as it must. Their own record is so abysmal that in the real world and not your dream world Oblamer would be down 15 points in the polls. But alas, with the media on your side you can obfuscate the truth and divert attention very easily. You are upset that Chicago politics won't allow for another Swift Boat. Romney's new welfare ad is a pack of lies. He even requested the waiver in 2005. Let me ask you a simple question, did Oblamer in the middle of the night on a weekend sign and executive order eliminating the work requirement for welfare recipients? I don't care why he did it and I don't care who asked for it. He did it using his so-called imperial powers instead of going through the normal legislative process. And for that he deserves the criticism and has to pay the political price with Independents that realize that the GOP led welfare reform (that Slick Willie reluctantly agreed to after he read the polls and did the focus groups) actually worked. We don't need a Swift Boat (which was true by the way), we need only get enough voting Americans to see what an abject, abysmal failure TOTUS has been and we can begin the difficult task of repairing our nation. For this post alone, I will send in another $50 to Romney in your honor.

MM, are you really sending donations to the campaign in GF's name? If so, with the monies I forwarded in a similar fashion, he could wind up on Mitt's "bundlers list". At the very least, on the FEC published list of major donors. Can you imagine GF trying to explain that away at his next Wobblies meeting? Now that there's funny, I don't care who you are!!!

We really won’t know unless your boy releases his returns. So, at this point Harry is tellng the truth. He gave the states the oppotunity to improve the federal law so it works better in their state. “In a memo to states issued with little notice late Thursday, the federal Health and Human Services Department said it is interested in approving state experiments that will help "find more effective mechanisms for helping families succeed in employment." States will not be able to escape the work requirements of the landmark 1996 federal welfare reform law, the administration said, but they may get federal approval to try to accomplish the same goals by using different methods than those spelled out in the legislation.” This was requested by both Republican and Democratic governors. Why do you have an issue if the states try to improve the system? I will await your proof and if you can do so I will gladly retract my statements.

It was not his parents that refuted the story, it was his sister and she said her brother, with whom she was close, never mentioned the alleged hazing and would have resented these tactics and the story. I agree it is a silly thing to bring up but your guy's team brought it up and it is but one of many examples of the campaign TOTUS is running. Fact is, they lied that Romeny hazed the guy because he was gay. That was a lie. As for your continued insistence that Harry is telling the truth I am going to end this once and for all in very clear terms. Romney has released his tax returns from 2010-2011 in which he paid taxes in both years. Really, this is not hard. You see, this is 2012. The last 10 years would go from 2002 to 2012. In the two years of tax returns that he has released, which fall within "the last 10 years", he has provided written documentation that he paid taxes. Harry Reid is lying. Period, end of report. Don't you trust the Washington Post?!?!? I am truly shocked. As for your strange interpretation of what the Messiah did in his exec order I will provide a quote from ABC News. “After the Obama administration announced this week that it is opening up waivers to states from the work requirements contained in welfare reform........., .” You see GF, without the waiver in the Exec Order no state could do this because that was the intent of the law passed in a bipartisan fashion and signed by Slick Willie. Now if you want to argue that he isn't responsible for the ultimate outcome of what he did then we need to revisit all your criticisms of GOP Presidents. I mean, it wasn't their fault that people did what they allowed to happen. Just be honest GF, what Obama did will allow for a critical component of welfare reform to be changed and had he not done so it would not have happened because it would have violated federal law. He is responsible regardless of the circumstances. And from Democrat Mickey Kraus comes the following: "A great deal of effort was put into defining what qualified as work, and making sure that work actually meant work and not the various BS activities (including BS training activities) the welfare bureaucracies often preferred to substitute for work. . . . But of course the work requirements were part of what sent that general ‘signal.’ . . . To the extent the administration’s action erodes the actual and perceived toughness of the work requirements, which it does, it sends the opposite and wrong signal." I suppose they are all wrong and you are right about this issue. I await your apology and retraction...............

Both GOP governors have denied making the request to the administration and what Romney did in Mass. was veto a bill that would relax work rules. GF, you really need to vet what Baghdad Bob Carney says before you repeat it. More lies.....

I apologize and you are correct that Reid was wrong in stating no taxes last 10 years. He should have stated 10 years starting with 2009 and going back. I sent an email to Reid's office notifying them of the error and gave you credit for the correction. They have not responded but I am sure they appreciate your due diligence.

And he doubled down by making the statement from the Senate floor so he could avoid any legal ramifications.

According to Reid aide Jose Parra (during an interview on on some LA radio station), and I quote, "This person is an investor in Bain Capital, a Republican also, and somebody ... who has been dealing with Romney's company for a long, long time and he has direct knowledge on this," But now Mr. Parra has had to deny he knows anything more than Dingy Harry about his imaginary source. This gets stranger and stranger but of course in Chicago-style politics the truth doesn't matter as we now have the Obama campaign putting out an ad about how much Romney paid in taxes. A little coordination here? And as we have now seen with the serial lies being told by the Obama administration about the serial liar Joe Coptic (you remember, the guy who disgustingly used his wife's death from cancer to lie about Romney) and the now obvious coordination with a SuperPac, which violates federal law. Lying liars telling lies and then complaining when Romney tells the truth about the Messiah gutting welfare reform and then lying about why he allowed HHS to issue the waiver. Have you no shame sir? Nope.......... But that is Chicago-style politics and it will work unless Romney responds quickly and forcefully or will he follow the lead of John McCain? That of course was the original question before GF went off on one of his many tangents.
