Not I sir.  It looks like he was wearing the kill switch.  Wonder why it spun/hooked?

One word "INEXPERIENCE"  watch how he in and out of the throttles. the boat lost its attitude and hooked they really came out good it could have rolled.amazing that no one was ejected!!   the bow fell in the water out drives had a slight angle on them and to the right it goes!!!!

Also was a huge cruiser wake, they claim 8 footers!

Who are you kidding? Let's talk about stupid driving an unsafe boat at too high speeds.

Perfect example of what happens with the fast boat crowd when there's a camera around. LOOKY, LOOKY., I'M SOOOOOO COOOL-oops.

Correct, I have been to the Ozarks twice now and have seen ten footers personally, completely swamped my boat and couldn't see land when in the ditch. Literally seen 75 foot yachts plowing like cruisers do everywhere else. I will say the guy was an idiot and no one on board was much wiser. The type of boat that this happened in is not the issue, its lack of experience and boating knowledge, result would be the same in a Sea Ray or anything else.

I do not understand that comment - looks like a Fountain 38, not a Sportsmaster with a rotted transom...

Just re-reviewed the video.  Why is the driver? moving the throttles from full speed to idle is such a quick jerky movement, back and forth, back and forth.  The wake easily seen appears to be about three feet.  Looks like driver tries to cross the wakes almost parallel and lost control when the boat chine bit into a wake.

The first wave hit that was in view was possibly around 3 feet, but 3 to 4 footers dont even shake a 38 fountain. It looks to me as though he was crossing caddy corner and lost it at the wrong time. As far as the throttles are concerned, my guess would be that google taught him to drive!! Lack of skill once again!!

Don't forget rogue waves in a busy lake with big boats.

If he would have crossed waves parallel the boat would have rocked left to right and have gotten more frequent as the boat neared the last wake. My best guess is he was crossing some wakes caddy corner, and hit some much larger wakes that he didnt see. And never point the camera at yourself!
