As a supporter, I wondered why Obama did not nail Romney with his 47% comment. This may well be the reason: "The New York Times reported that Romney had hoped to try to repair the damage during the debate, when more than 67 million people were watching. But Obama did not bring it up, in part to deny Romney that opportunity, an aide told the newspaper." So, the criticism by Obama can continue as before the debate.

Sounds like more spin to me ...
He probably did not bring it up because Romney hammered him with clear facts on anything Oblamer brought up and he knew he was out matched ... so he just folded and took the beating. As I said, I actually was feeling embarrassed for Obama ...
It should have been like a little league game ... when it is clear it is not an even match, you just call the game.
The saddest thing is, Obama immediate goes back out on the campaign trail again trying to put different words in Romneys mouth, rather than talking about his own plan. If someone feels they have a good plan, they talk about their plan rather than spend your whole campaign on misrepresenting the other candidates plans.

How do you nail a guy for speaking the truth? That's why they didn't bring it up because they know theirs is a false narrative and Romney would hit it out of the par.
I can see the response, "Well gee Mr President, I am surprised you are criticizing me acknowledging some time ago that you had 47% of the vote locked up. But lets look at your main campaign contributors, teacher's unions, government employee unions, government employees and so on. Its no surprise that a President who thinks government is the solution to everything would be supported by people that work for or depend on the government. My plan would lessen that dependency, raise everyone up and preserve government agencies and programs that the American people want and need and eliminate those that they don't. Your plan is to make the economy so bad that more and more people are forced to rely on the government. That is not the American spirit."
You see GF, 30% of working poor Americans actually support Mitt Romney and even more will by November 6th when they come to learn that he will help them up and out. The left views them as worthless losers that need the govt to survive. Sure there are a percentage of them that have lost all their dignity and will crow on national TV about their Obama phones. "I got my Obama phone! MItt Romney sucks!". But a great many of them realize that they are in this position temporarily and as a result of Obama's feckless economic policies and they will vote for a better way. They don't see themselves as part of the 47% but Obama and the left surely do.
