Everybody has a thought on how to keep the birds out of my boathouse but none seem to work. I have put up screen and now they fly underneath the house and up between the walkway and the pontoon. I have hung old cd's off the side of the boat but they dont seem fazed. Anyone ever hung blinking Christmas lights on the inside,

Have YOU ever hung the lights in YOUR boathouse? I don't see why anyone else would have.... Have you considered an ultrasonic repeller - I have not used one, but have seen critters scatter when an ultrasonic emitter was turned on. The Christmas lights would probably attract bugs, which might attract more birds to your place.

To stop them from repainting my boat I got a couple of rubber snakes in the rafters. Birds don't like snakes.

Rubber snakes keep the birds off my fruit trees so should work in a boat house. Cheap risk to take I rekon.

I have an ultrasonic repeller that works great. Completely cured by boathouse bird problem.
