Liberal logic - $1.6 trillion

Obama proposed we raise taxes $1.6 TRILLION dollars a YEAR today on individuals. Now lets think about it ... he is going to take that amount of money out of the pockets of consumers that would have spent it and helped businesses prosper and create jobs. But somehow that magnitude of money no longer in the economy is going to help the economy and create jobs.
