From Newt Gingrich on the election. Romney was so bad for your party as his defeat will leave lasting damage.

He did worse with Asian-Americans than he did with Latinos. This is the hardest-working and most successful ethnic group in America. They ain’t into gifts. Second, it’s an insult to all Americans. It reduces us to economic entities. You have no passion, no idealism, no dreams, no philosophy. If it had been that simple, my question would be, why didn’t you outbid him? “He had enough billionaire supporters, if buying the electorate was the key, he could have got all his Super PAC friends together and said, don’t buy ads, give gifts. Be like the northwest Indians who have gift-giving ceremonies. We could have gone town-by-town and said, ‘Come here, let me give you gifts. Here are Republican gifts.’ An elephant coming in with gifts on it.”

So now you love Newt!?!?!? Geez GF, you said all kinds of nasty things about him during the primary but now he is some insightful visionary? Get over it GF, Oblamer won because he offered more so called free stuff to greedy, lazy, slutty women that can't find a real man. Newt is just expressing his sour grapes over getting waxed in the primaries.

Actually, Newt is brilliant and I never miss the opportunity to either listen or read his articles. I enjoyed listening to him in the debates. I just have a difficult time understanding anyone like you accepting him with his immoral past. As I have said before, you need to read Tom Delay's book No Retreat, No Suurender. His disussion about Newt's lack of leadership ability and how it led to the GOP House to remove him as Speaker is quite interesting. Newt is a thinker with great ideas that often can't be carried out and a good example was his discussion during the debate about establishing a colony on the moon.
Newt would great at the UN or Secretary of State.

It really didn't matter who the G O P nominated. There was so much voter fraud they would have defeated Regan. Vote machines changing votes, hundreds of precincts voting 99 % for O, turnouts of 140 %, every time it gets close someone finds another box of uncounted ballots, the military absentee ballots not arriving. On and on!
We need to go back to punch paper ballots. At least they would not have an "electronic glitch". and they would have a paper trail. Electronic tabulation is ephemeral and has no way of auditing.
It might not matter anyway for this could be the last election.

I understand that Florida uses ONLY paper ballots. I have always followed the rule that I vote early so I can also vote on election day. Didn't you ever do that???? How old are you that you are giving up on elections????????

Newt is the one with sour grapes. But I will agree about his leadership style. Our DC lobbyist worked with Newt and said pretty much the same thing.

When precinct gets 100 to 140 % for someone, even a liberal (if he's honest) can see that there appears to be
an Ethiopian in our supply of fuel.

You need to better explain this as Archie probably doesn't understand why having 140% more votes than registered voters is actually a problem. Let me try to help you Archie and I'm typing real slow so you can follow me.
You see, supposedly only registered voters should vote on election day. So if you have 100 registered voters in a precinct and the final tally has 140 votes then either 40 people voted who should not have voted or they double counted eligible votes. There really can be no other explanation. So you either have massive vote fraud ala Philadelphia where the Democrat precinct officers kicked out the GOP officers so they could commit their vote fraud before the judge ruled they had to be let in. Of course by then it was too late but what the heck, whats a little vote fraud when your guy is the beneficiary, right?

If you got you info from a source other than Rush, you would be able to post the truth. Votes were doubled counted. No excuse, but that is the answer.

As I said, that is one possible explanation but it still means systemic voter fraud occurred as well as individual voter fraud. And that does not account for every precinct where this occurs.
