I was told by a guy that drives a dump truck for the ADOT that work has to be done this winter on the I20 bridge. He said they are needing the lake to be brought down to the channel this winter. I wonder how much of this is true. Mike, maybe you could help with this. This was told to me at the day after Thanksgiving tourniment at Poor House.

I heard pretty much the same thing with a slight twist and was hoping Mike might have some intel. The twist is that ALDOT and APCO were working together on a timeline so that work could be done on the I20 bridge and work done on the dam at the same time. Mike? Anything? <>< TC

The rumor about the dam work was a just a rumor. Hopefully this is too...... Even though I would not mind it being dropped a little bit more for maybe 2 weeks..... I would like to see whats out there

Hey guys this is the first I've heard of this. I can't say if this is true or false however I have not seen any request to lower the water level for work on the I-20 bridge. I will find out if this is true or not. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner I have not really monitored the forum the past few weeks.

Talked with APCO and got the following:

It must be rumor, we have heard nothing about this project recently; not sure how such things get started. I do know that ALDOT has plans to replace the I-20 bridge at some point in the future, and that has been well published over the years, but again, nothing happening on it right now. There are some plans to replace the Stemley bridge as well, but still nothing concrete there.
