Is anyone else experiencing that the messages on this forum no longer change color after the message has been read?  Or is it just on my computer?  This has been going on for a couple of days for me.

If you are using Firefox, you can change it to any color you want.Right  click on page and on drop down menu click on NoSquint Settings,an pick what you want.

Assume your problem is that when you read a post on Forum, next visit it looks like you have not read the post??

Happens to me on a Browser update dump, where your preferences are zapped and replaced by the dreaded "recommended".
As I remember it, you have to turn off "private browsing" if it is set, or visit Security to allow cookies to be stored that keep track of posts on any website you have already viewed.
Maybe an expert here will, take you step by step. I cannot. My fixes are trial and mostly error.

I don't use Firefox.  And, Mack, you're right...the problem is that when I read a post on Forum, next visit it looks like I have not read the post.  But what you have said beyond that is waay beyond my ability on the computer.  I was hopeful that it was a problem on the site...not mine!

First thing first. Go on-line and download Mozilla Firefox (FREE) onto your desktop. Mucho better than Explorer,, Mucho. Click into Firefox and set it up, then use it 50% of the time, 50% with Explorer. Pick the winner as default browser.

The NoSquint setting i referred to may  be an add on i downloaded. Check the add ons and  add to firefox.

Works fine here...I agree that Firefox is a better browser for most sites, but a few sites I use are not compatible and require explorer to work properly (this isn't one of them).

I note that if I use the "Beta" choice, there is still a change of color.  Odd.
