Some company from left wing nut Oregon is marketing "safer" ammunition to police forces.    The product was originally developed for air marshals where real bullets can damage the aircraft which makes total sense to me.

I pray to God that my local police force does not buy into this absurd concept. When they are firing at the bad guys I want them to use hollow point bullets that are intended to kill.....not stun.  Lets see how well that works on someone high on meth or bath salts. The moronic ideas the left come up with these days..........but I guarantee you that it will sell to police in the blood bath cities like Chicago where we can see the usefulness of their idiotic gun control laws, and even more innocent black people will die as a result.

There are plenty of options already in the "less than lethal" type of product, although I see very few times that I would employ them (especially since I do not buy them).  If I do happen to use a less than lethal round, I will follow up with the next round in the chamber to correct that deficiency.

That's my strategy as well.  If the first hollow stem doesn't do the trick then I also plan to use one of the nine remaining in the clip.

Now that is some ammo that makes sense to me.  Thanks for the referral as I may buy a box.  Going through the wall is one of the reasons I keep the tactical shotgun under my bed instead of the 45.

I was curious about this ammo and went, of course, to Google.  Fond two demo videos, one rather amateurish, the other more controlled.

The first, shot into a melon, was quitr impressive.  The second, shot into ballistic gel through 4 layers of denim (which is apparently some benchmark) wasn't nearly so impressive.  Seems the denim modified the bullet's trajectory just enough to prevent it from fragmenting as designed.  Still moved about 16 inches through the gel, but more like a conventional round.

See the link below and make your own decision....

BTW, my wive gave me a Remington tactical shotgun for Christmas.  What size shell and shot would you reccoment for HD?

Definitely not regular bird shot unless you are going to be the right distance.

Thanks...sounds like a good compromise between bird and buck shot.  I'd be afraid buckshot might pebetrate more that I'd like.
