Anyone know of a good, reputable auto shop that does import repairs either locally or in Auburn-Opelika?

Just glue a prop on the back and take it to Cathouse Marine.  If you have two props and attach them to bumpers, you will get special services...

No, not late.  Just was gonna pass the info along to "Spyke420".  He visits the forum from time to time, and works with Jeff (HPHQ) when he is not busy.  He is a nice guy, and seems knowledgeable.  At the moment, I think he works at Glynn Smith GMC, but has worked at Foriegn dealerships.  I'll get Jeff to post his info in case he has not thought of it.

Got a bearing noise in a Honda Product. Tranny was just replaced but I'm hearing a bearing noise that is speed correlated. I'm guessing it's a wheel bearing but maybe tranny related (?). Hoped it was the tires but I replaced those and nothing changed. Thanks!

Sam Scobee at King Honda is prob the best honda/acura tech you will find down that way. Or Mike Garrison at The Shop . thats the name name of his shop. its closer to phenix city though. scobee work at the honda dealer in auburn. i worked with both of them for many years. i am in birmingham which is prob too far for you

Im in dadeville.keeping safety in mind.on a smoth raod surface sway the vehicle back and forth at about time speed that it makes noise. if it comes and goes with the swaying motion=wheel bearing.

It doesn't. I'm thinking it's something else. What I didn't tell you is when I got the car back from the dealer, after the transmission replacement, I got a clunk when stepping on the gas and a clunk when I stepped on the brake. Turns out the mounting bolts on the tranny were not properly tightened by the Acura dealer.

Honda/Acura is headed to new lows IMHO. If it's the tranny I'm holding their feet to the fire if if's the wheels I'll take care of it. I just need to find someone I can trust....

Is that the same Bryan that worked at Serra Honda in Sylacauga for years?  If so, he absolutely is the best.  He was my guy when I lived/work up there.

Brian and Ondi came to the Party we had.  The one that your band played at.  You will remember her when you see her.

Im available to take a listen to it.my opion wont cost you anything. If it wasnt making the noise before the last repair it should be fixxed by the shop that installed the trans.33453191233.Im just saying.

You're welcome, y'all do good work and the recommendation is well deserved. Yes, Amanda is enjoying her new Civic.....the old 96 Maxima served her well, but it was time to move on.

I didn't stay for the party remember.  It was thrown together at the last minute and I had other commitments.  The Bryan I am thinking of had a wife that one would surely remember also.  He used to buy her jewelry from me.  Great folks.  He knew Hondas inside out.

Thanks for that generous offer. Sorry I didn't get back to the board to reply sooner. I'm going to try a shop in Opelika - Gradys. their demandforce reviews were solid. I'll keep your number though. I don't like having to drive that far and need someone reliable here to keep my old cars rolling. I have been here just long enough to have found the bad ones :-)...(except for Cat of course.)
